WE HAVE SOME VERY EXCITING NEWS! 🏠

As we prepare for our 14th project, Christmas Smile finally has a place to call HOME!

After years of working from borrowed spaces, temporary locations and the incredible generosity of local organisations, we finally have a place of our own. This is such an exciting milestone for us.

📍 Our new home is Unit 31, Tweedale Court, Madeley, Telford TF7 4JZ

BUT FIRST… WE NEED A LITTLE HELP! 🙏

We have a few jobs to tackle to get our new home ready for this year’s Christmas Smile project, and we’re hoping some of our wonderful local businesses, tradespeople and supporters might be able to lend a hand.

Next week (19-25th) we are looking for:

🚐 A van and helping hands on Friday 23rd from 6pm – to help us to move boxes and supplies from the Gurdwara to our new premises.

⚡ An electrician – who could kindly help us with some PAT testing.

🔥 Fire risk assessment and advice

🔨 A handyman with tools – to fit blinds and help with a few small jobs.

🪣 Vinyl flooring – we’d love some help supplying and fitting vinyl flooring in our toilets.

🪧 Signage – we’d also welcome support with a couple of external signs to help everyone find our new home.

The following week (26 October onwards):

We’ll be organising a big clean-up and getting everything ready for our volunteers to move in and start spreading some Christmas magic! We’ll share more details about how you can get involved very soon.

If you or your business could donate a little time, materials or expertise, we’d be incredibly grateful. Every bit of help means more of our charity’s funds can go towards supporting local people who need us.

We couldn’t have reached this milestone without the amazing community that has supported Christmas Smile over the past 14 years.

🎄✨ AND WE’RE OFF! Christmas Smile 2026 has begun! 🎁❤️

It might feel a little early to mention Christmas, but for us, the magic starts now! ✨

We’re busy getting things underway, with dates and venue still to be confirmed. But there’s no need to wait to get involved!

We don’t blame you!

The Christmas Smile Project has been at Telford Balloon Fiesta today, braving the rather un-festiva-like weather and raising vital funds to help provide Christmas gifts for children and vulnerable adults across our local community. 🎄❤️

Sadly, the weather has meant far fewer people have made it down than we’d hoped — and that has had a big impact on the money we’ve been able to raise.

So, if you were planning to bring the kids down today but decided that staying warm and dry sounded much more appealing… we have a tiny favour to ask. 🥹

Think about what you might have spent on rides, food, drinks and treats while you were there… 🎡🍔🍦

Every year The Christmas Smile Project helps children, families and vulnerable people in our community who may otherwise have very little to look forward to.
