🎉 Outreach success story 🎉

As one of our outreach students approaches the end of their two year journey with us, we’re celebrating a fantastic achievement.

Through travel training they’ve built the confidence to navigate train stations, buy tickets and travel independently. Yesterday they proudly told their mentor they were catching a train to Birmingham on their own to meet a friend, having planned and booked the journey themselves.

It might seem like small thing to some, but it’s a huge milestone and a perfect example of why outreach and travel training are so important.

🌈 To support Pride Month 2026 this June, the NWG are proud to offer a FREE awareness session focusing on Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) and LGBTQ+ children & young people 💙
🕐 This FREE one-hour online session will explore:
🔹 What CSE is
🔹 How LGBTQ+ children and young people can be targeted and groomed for exploitation
🔹 Additional vulnerabilities and risks faced by LGBTQ+ young people
🧩 Protecting children is EVERYBODY’S responsibility.
🤝 That’s why this session is open to everyone — because together we can raise awareness, strengthen understanding, and help stop the abuse and exploitation of children

We’re back after the break and charging into the final 7 weeks before the summer holidays here at Really NEET!

It’s always an exciting stretch of the year, we proudly celebrate our year 2’s as they get ready for their next chapter, warmly welcome new students to the journey, and watch our year 1’s build momentum and thrive in their second year.

Lots of change lots of growth, and so much still to accomplish.

Mental Health Awarness Week 💚

A reminder that mental health matters just as much as physical health. Taking care of yourself doesn’t always mean big changes, sometimes it’s the small things that can help the most.

A few simple reminders:🖤

Take breaks when you need them ☕️
Get outside for some fresh air🍂
Talk to someone you trust🗣️
Rest without feeling guilty 🛌
Be kind to yourself on difficult days 🩷

You never know what someone else may be carrying, so kindness can go a long way.
Check in with your friends, check in on yourself, and remember it’s okay to ask for help 💚
