Inspired by our trip to Cosford we decided to our our own parachutes to the test 🪂

Our young people followed instructions on how to design and build their own parachute, bringing in some English skills on the way. We then used our maths skills to time each parachutes fall and see which one took the longest to land ⏱️

A fun and hands on on way to learn, experiment and crown a winner 💚🩷🖤

For our outreach learners, progress doesn’t always mean big unmanageable steps. Sometimes it starts at home, moves to a familiar community environment before gradually building up to exploring somewhere new.

We take things at your pace, your time and build confidence every step along the way. There is no rush and no pressure it’s all about encouragement and celebration of your success 💚🩷🖤

Last week for Empower we went back in time with a trip to RAF Cosford ✈️

We explored the museum and to really embrace the old school theme our young people took disposable cameras to capture their day.

🎨ART WEEK - SPLATTER PAINT🎨

We got creative during art week of Empower with a little something different at splatter paint 🖌️

Our young people had the chance to get stuck in, experiment with colours and create some unique art pieces with absolutely no pressure to make it look perfect! This was just about having fun, getting a little bit messy and seeing how creative we could be 💚🩷🖤
