As previously advised the meeting will be held in the Village hall starting at 7pm on Tuesday 3rd November to discuss:

1. Implementing a 20mph speed limit in the main part of the village and how to fund it, if it is agreed.
2. Funding the defibrillator

Please make every effort to attend. The agenda with relevant notes etc can be seen here:

NOTICE OF PARISH MEETING

There will be a Parish Meeting on Tuesday 3rd November starting at 7pm in the village hall.

The 2 main items for discussion and decision will be:

>Defibrillator update and future costs

> Speed limits and signage and costs

Please ensure you have read the draft minutes of the Annual Parish Meeting held in June to understand what was discussed previously, and review the updates on the Lamyatt Matters page of the website.

https://lamyatt.org.uk/lamyatt-matters-2/

Further updates have been posted up and an Agenda for the meeting on 3rd November will be posted up when available. (I’m hoping all costs that might be decided upon will be on the webpage by 17th October….)

This meeting will discuss and decide how to fund these items and may decide to raise a precept.

Please let others know in case they’ve not seen this message - it’s also been posted up on the Parish Notice board since 3rd Oct.

Can you spare a few minutes or an hour to help keep our hall fresh, clean and welcoming?

Every little bit of help makes a difference, and we really appreciate anything you can give!

Refreshments will be provided, so come along, lend a hand and enjoy a cuppa with us!

Any questions? Just pop us a message or speak to a committee member.

Thank you for your support!

Our Village Hall is a wonderful community asset — but keeping it running takes money, forward planning and volunteers.

Come along to the AGM to hear how the Hall is managed, understand more about its finances and reserves, and find out what’s needed to keep this important village resource in good shape for the future.

Whether you’re interested in becoming a member, getting involved, or simply finding out more, we’d really like to see you.
It’s your village hall — come and have your say.
