🌳 Wild & Green Community Fair 🌳
No ‘normal’ skill swap happening on 14th September, instead the The Balsam Centre is running a FANTASTIC Wild & Green Community Fair, where you can learn loads about how to look after our environment, be more eco friendly and I’m sure some skills will be swapped across the day 🤩
Here’s a date for your diary! We’ll be holding a Wild & Green Community Fair here at The Balsam Centre on Saturday 14 September. 🌳
Taking as its starting point the belief that, through community action, we can all do our bit to address the biodiversity and climate crises, this family-friendly day will offer practical advice, fun hands-on activities, inspiring ideas and useful guidance on everything from wildlife and ecology to sustainable food, repair and recycling.
Participating organisations confirmed so far include Somerset Wildlife Trust The Fixy project Brue CREW CATCH - Community Action to Transform Cale Habitat Forest Of Selwood Somerset Bus Partnership Bunker Bushcraft Forest School Defashion Dorset Chesterblade Hills One Planet Wincanton The Growing Space and This Living Place.
