Danny from ACCT was on BBC Sheffield this morning talking to Ellie about ACCT and the grant we were fortunate enough to receive from the Jane Tomlinson Appeal. If you fancy a listen, it's on BBC Sounds, 3hrs 9 minutes into the programme.

Wake up with a smile with Ellie and everything you need to know in South Yorkshire.

Short notice, but there's a SEND Parents Group meeting this evening at Bents Green Church which might be of interest to parents and carers. It's not an ACCT thing so I don't know any details other than what's on the flyer.

Please fill in this quick form to give ACCT more chance of winning £5,000 towards our clubs.

If the London Marathon has inspired you to get your trainers on, please consider joining Team ACCT and taking part in the Sheffield 10k on Sunday 27th September.

ACCT pays for your place in the race and we'll give you an ACCT running t-shirt or vest. What we ask in return is that you please do some fundraising, asking your friends, colleagues, neighbours and acquaintances to sponsor you for taking on the 10k challenge.

The money you raise goes towards the costs of all the activity groups that ACCT runs each week for autistic young people and their families.

Sign up by completing our short registration form and we'll be in touch - welcome to Team ACCT!

Please join Team ACCT and take on the challenge of the Sheffield 10k on 27th September 2026 or the Half Marathon in 2027. Or both! ACCT will pay for the cost of the race place for each ACCT runner and provide a free ACCT t-shirt or running vest; we ask you to raise some sponsorship money for ACCT in...

We were honoured that ACCT were one of the first charities that the Sole Sisters raised money for by walking the Edale Skyline and organising various other fundraising activities. They've gone from strength to strength since, organising really big events like their Ladies Lunches and raising tens of thousands of pounds. Amazing work, Sisters!

A group of inspiring Sheffield women have chosen Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice as their charity of the year and are setting their sights on raising up to £14,000 to support one of the hospice’s most important annual events.

Good luck to Team ACCT and all the runners taking part in today's Half Marathon. You're amazing!

It's the Sheffield Half Marathon this Sunday, with the race starting at 9.30am. If you're planning on getting out and watching the race, we really hope you'll look out for the Team ACCT runners and give them all your support!

The race starts on Arundel Gate and heads out along Ecclesall Road and Ringinglow Road, then down to Dore and Whirlow before heading back in again along Ecclesall Road.

Many thanks to everybody who has sponsored the Team ACCT runners so far, raising over £1,100 (nearly £1,400 with gift aid). There is still time to give the runners some support and ACCT would really appreciate any more donations to help us continue to deliver so many activity groups for autistic young people and their families.
