She had something simple to say. But first, she had to check his mood. 💔

Have you ever rehearsed a sentence in your head because you were afraid of how someone might react?

In a healthy relationship, you should be able to express your thoughts, ask questions and share your feelings without constantly fearing the other person’s response.

One moment doesn’t define a relationship, but a repeated pattern of fear deserves attention.

Your feelings matter. Your voice matters. And you deserve to feel safe.

💜 Save this as a reminder of what emotional safety should include.

Digital abuse is not “just being protective.” When technology is repeatedly used to monitor, frighten, isolate or control someone, it can form part of a wider pattern of abuse.
Technology-facilitated abuse may include:
📍 Tracking or demanding access to your location
🔐 Pressuring you to share passwords
💬 Reading your private messages without permission
📱 Controlling your phone or online accounts
☎️ Constantly calling or messaging to monitor what you are doing
👁️ Using devices, apps or shared accounts to watch your movements
The wider context and pattern matter. Healthy relationships respect privacy, independence and consent.
If you believe someone may be monitoring your device, think carefully before changing passwords, disabling location sharing or removing connected accounts. These actions may alert the person and could increase the risk. When possible, use a safer device belonging to someone you trust—or a computer at work, a library or another safe location—to seek specialist advice.
The National Domestic Abuse Helpline is available free and confidentially, 24 hours a day:
📞 0808 2000 247
In an immediate emergency, call 999.
Please save and share this post. Someone may be experiencing digital control without yet having the words to recognise it.
Until she is safe from abuse, we will not be silent.

ANOTHER MILESTONE! A NEW CHAPTER FOR INSPIRED WOMEN FOUNDATION!💜

Today, we celebrate another beautiful step forward in our journey. 🙏🏾

We are delighted to announce that Inspired Women Foundation has secured access to a new source of affordable essential products, creating opportunities for us to support women not only at Christmas, but throughout the year.

For us, this is about so much more than providing toiletries, hygiene essentials or care packages.

It is about restoring dignity.

It is about reminding a woman rebuilding her life after abuse that she has not been forgotten.

It is about turning compassion into practical action.

Our Christmas Gifts of Hope 2026 initiative is just the beginning. 🎄💜

Our long-term vision is to develop sustainable support that enables us to provide dignity packs, personal-care essentials and thoughtful wellbeing packages to women facing difficult circumstances.

We are still growing, and we will continue to need donations, partnerships and community support to make this vision a reality.

But today, we celebrate another door opening.

Our mission has never been limited to one season. Women need hope, dignity and support every day of the year.

To everyone who has supported, encouraged, donated or believed in Inspired Women Foundation, thank you. You are helping us build something that we hope will change lives.

💜Would you like to help us reach more women?

Support our work through donations, corporate partnerships, product donations or by sharing our mission with others.

💜 Silence. Survival. Restoration.
If I had to describe my journey in three words, these would be the ones.
Silence: When I carried pain I didn't know how to explain, and sometimes didn't feel safe enough to express.
Survival: When I kept going, even on the days I felt I had nothing left to give.
Restoration: When I began rediscovering my identity, my voice and my purpose.
At EmpowerHer 2026, I shared these words because I know there are women living through each of these stages right now.
And I want you to know something.
You don't have to rush your healing. You don't have to explain your journey to everyone. And you don't have to pretend you're okay when you're not.
You deserve safety, support and the freedom to heal at your own pace.
Survival was not weakness. It was evidence of presence.

The numbers are not abstract. Behind every statistic is a person, a family and a life affected.

Latest figures from the Crime Survey for England and Wales estimate that, in the year ending March 2026:

Approximately 1 in 10 people aged 16 and over experienced domestic abuse, sexual victimisation or stalking in the previous year.

Among women, the figure was approximately 1 in 8 around 3.2 million women aged 16 and over.

These figures describe a combined measure covering domestic abuse, sexual victimisation and stalking. They remind us why awareness, education and safe responses remain essential.

If someone tells you what they are experiencing:

💜 Listen without judgement.
💜 Believe without blame.
💜 Ask: “How can I support you?”
💜 Respect their choices and confidentiality.
💜 Help them access specialist support when they are ready.

The National Domestic Abuse Helpline operated by Refuge, is available free and confidentially 24 hours a day:

📞 0808 2000 247

In an immediate emergency, call 999. If you are calling from a mobile and cannot speak, listen to the instructions and press 55 when prompted.

Please save and share this carousel. Awareness must lead to safer conversations, informed support and meaningful action.

💜 Writing What God Healed | From Ashes to Beauty
There was a time when I never imagined I would stand before other women and speak openly about the things I had survived.
Some experiences leave you questioning your worth, your voice and even your future.
But healing has taught me that what happened to me does not have to define the rest of my life.
At EmpowerHer 2026, sharing my story was about more than looking back. It was about reminding another woman that there is life beyond abuse, and that she deserves to experience it.
Healing doesn't mean forgetting everything that happened. Sometimes it means learning to live without allowing the past to control your future.
To the woman reading this today, your story is not over. 💜

At Inspired Women Foundation, we believe every woman deserves to live with safety, dignity, and hope.

We are here to raise awareness about abuse, encourage healing, and remind women that they don’t have to face life’s challenges alone. Every woman deserves to be heard, supported, and treated with respect. 🦋

Together, we can break the silence, replace judgment with compassion, and help women find the courage to rebuild their lives.

✨ One voice can inspire hope. One act of kindness can make a difference.

A boundary is not disrespect.

It is a clear statement about what you will accept, what you need and what you may do to protect your wellbeing.

Someone may feel disappointed when you set a boundary. That feeling alone does not make their response abusive. The concern is a repeated pattern of punishment, intimidation or pressure designed to make you withdraw your boundary.

Boundary backlash may include:

💜 Anger, threats or intimidation
💜 Guilt and emotional pressure
💜 Repeated attempts to wear you down
💜 Silent treatment or withdrawal
💜 Withholding money, care or affection
💜 Involving relatives, friends or faith leaders to shame you

You may begin to feel that saying “no” is more painful than giving in. Over time, this can teach you to abandon your own needs to prevent conflict.

Healthy relationships may involve disappointment, but they still respect consent, personal limits and the right to make decisions.

The response to your boundary can reveal the dynamic.

If setting a boundary could place you at greater risk, seek specialist advice before confronting the person or making sudden changes.

💜 Moments That Matter | EmpowerHer 2026
Some moments stay with us long after an event has ended.
Looking back at these beautiful photographs from EmpowerHer 2026 reminds us why we do what we do.
Through “What God Healed” and “My Story in 3 Words,” we were reminded that behind every story is a woman whose voice matters, whose experiences deserve to be heard, and whose journey towards healing deserves compassion and respect.

A heartfelt thank you to Eli Bloom from Restored UK for capturing and sharing these meaningful moments with us. We are truly grateful for your contribution to EmpowerHer and for the connection that continues beyond the conference.

To every woman who joined us, thank you for being part of something so special.

Our conversations about safety, healing and empowerment do not end when the conference doors close. They continue in our communities, our relationships and the work we do every day.

Until she is safe from abuse, we will not be silent. 💜

Prayer is powerful but prayer and practical support are not in competition.

A woman can trust God and still:

💜 Create a safety plan
💜 Speak with a domestic abuse specialist
💜 Receive professional counselling
💜 Seek medical attention
💜 Report safeguarding concerns
💜 Obtain legal advice

Seeking help does not mean that your faith has failed. It means you recognise that God can work through wise counsel, trained professionals, safeguarding systems and people who are equipped to support you.

Churches and faith communities should never use prayer as a reason to delay protection, discourage disclosure or pressure someone to remain in danger.

We can pray with survivors while also listening, believing, safeguarding and connecting them with specialist support.

You do not have to choose between trusting God and protecting your life. Wise support can be part of the answer.

For confidential support, contact the National Domestic Abuse Helpline on 0808 2000 247, free and available 24 hours a day. In an emergency, call 999.

Until she is safe from abuse, we will not be silent. 💜
