Directions Website

We provide emergency food parcels to those in crisis, via referral from.one of our partner agencies. Each visit to foodbank requires a new referral.

Redditch Foodbank is dependent on the generous donors who provide food and finances to enable the charity to run, our referral agencies who help the clients through their time of need, and our clients who find they are in crisis. Our expectation is that with the help of agencies our clients specific needs will be addressed. A food parcel contains 3 days worth of emergency food. All food is provided by generous donations.so we seek regular and one-off donations of tinned, packet and long-life food. We request that all items are within their use by and best before dates.

We are now looking for some volunteers to help in the Redditch Foodbank. We are open Mon-Fri 10am - 1pm and Thurs 4pm-6pm. Ideally you would be able to help for at least one full slot. Drop into No 24 Church Green East and ask for Tim. We'll have an initial chat, and if you're still interested we'll ask you to complete a simple application form and then if all suitable, offer you a months trial.

Saturday 17th October is International Day for the Eradication of Poverty... Sadly we see many people in both the Redditch Foodbank and the CAP centre for whom poverty is an on-going issue. Lots of them are living on £338 per month! Can you please help us to help them. We are always in desperate need of the the following food/personal hygiene items:

Tinned meats or pies, Tinned baked beans or spaghetti, Tinned vegetables, Tinned Fruit, Pasta and Pasta Sauce, Coffee, Tea, Jam or Marmalade, Crisps, Biscuits, Squash, Toilet Rolls, Deodorant, Soap, Shampoo, Shower Gel.

The Foodbank at No 24 Church Green East Redditch B98 8DE is open Monday - Friday 10am - 1pm and also on Thursday from 4pm - 6pm. Vouchers to obtain a food parcel need to come from one of our referral agencies (list available on request). Pop in to see us with donations or to get further details or to book an appointment with someone who can help you with benefits advice or to book an appointment with CAP.

We are so grateful to 6 donors who have provided the Redditch Foodbank with half a ton of food this week. We were at the point of needing to purchase items to fulfil the needs of our clients, so THANK YOU!!!

However, this equates to no more than a week's supply.... Churches / Schools if you are doing a harvest Thanksgiving service would you please consider donating items to the Redditch Foodbank? We are ALWAYS in need of:

Tinned meats or pies, Tinned baked beans or spaghetti, Tinned vegetables, Tinned fruit, Pasta and Pasta Sauce, Coffee, Tea, Jam or Marmalade, Crisps, Biscuits, Squash, Toilet Rolls, Deodorant, Soap, Shampoo, Shower Gel

Thank you in anticipation.
