🚨 This is a critical moment. If you have discovered evidence of grooming, your natural instinct might be to confront the person or delete everything to "get it off the phone." Do not do this. 🚨

⚠️ To ensure the predator can be caught and prosecuted, you must treat the device as a crime scene. Here is the detailed guide on how to handle the device to protect the evidence and your child. ⚠️

🛑 THE "FIRST RESPONSE" CHECKLIST

🚨 Stop: Do Not Delete or Confront

🛑 Don't block or delete: While it feels wrong to leave the predator on the phone, deleting the account or the messages can destroy the digital trail (metadata) that police need to track them.

🛑 Don't "Hush" the Child: Reassure them they aren't in trouble. If they think they are, they might delete messages themselves to "hide the evidence" from you.

🛑 Don't Confront the Predator: This is vital. If you message them, they will immediately "Scrub" their own accounts and disappear, making them impossible to find.

🚨 Isolate the Device (The "Airplane Mode" Rule)

🛑 Turn on Airplane Mode: This prevents the predator from remotely wiping the device or using "disappearing message" features to erase evidence.

🛑 Disable Wi-Fi/Bluetooth: Ensure the phone cannot connect to any network.

🛑 Do Not Power Off (if possible): Some encryption makes it harder for police to get back into a phone once it's been turned off. Just keep it on, in Airplane Mode, and plugged into a charger.

🚨 Preserve the Evidence (The "Digital Backup")

If you are worried the messages might disappear (like on Snapchat), use a separate camera (not the child's phone) to take photos or videos of:

⚠️ The User Profile: Their username, ID numbers, and profile picture.

⚠️ The Conversations: Scroll slowly and record the whole chat.

⚠️ The "Hooks": Any mentions of gifts, secret meetings, or requests for photos.

⚠️ The Account Details: Note down which app, the date, and the time.

⚖️ WHO TO CONTACT IMMEDIATELY
For the UK (Specific Authorities):

💥 Emergency (Immediate Danger): Call 999 if a meeting was planned or your child is in danger right now.

💥 CEOP (Child Exploitation and Online Protection): This is the national police command specifically for this. Report to CEOP here. 👇

https://www.ceop.police.uk/Safety-Centre/?hl=en-GB

💥 Local Police: Call 101 to report the crime. Tell them you have a device with evidence and ask for a Digital Forensic Officer.

💥 NSPCC Helpline: Call 0808 800 5000 for support and advice on how to talk to your child through this trauma.

💜International Women’s Day is a reminder that violence against women and girls - at home, online, or out in the community - must never be ignored. It’s still one of the most serious issues we face, and together we can help stop the suffering.💜

Our UK Contact Centre is here 24/7. When someone shares information about domestic abuse, violence, child exploitation or any other crime, our team passes it to the police.

If you have suspicions, you can tell us what you know without ever giving your name or personal details.

No fear. No comeback. You tell us. We’ll pass it on.

💜Together, we can help protect women and girls:💜

💜 Today we celebrate **International Women’s Day** 💜

We honour the strength, courage, and determination of the women who fought for the right to vote over 100 years ago. Their voices, sacrifices, and resilience helped shape the freedoms many of us enjoy today.

At 💜The Eve Project💜, we stand in solidarity with women everywhere—past, present, and future. Today we celebrate the progress made, recognise the work still to be done, and uplift every woman’s voice.

💜Together, we continue the legacy of those who paved the way.💜

‼️‼️‼️Alert for ALL parents but primarily of Secondary school age children.‼️‼️‼️

Multiple schools around the country have warned parents to be video vigilant and be aware of the Red v Blue / school wars trend that is currently circulating on social media.

This trend encourages pupils at different schools to take part in attacking children from rival schools to score points for their team. Attacking with different items would earn different point levels. They are also encouraged to video these attacks and send to a specific person who will post the videos on social media and allocate the points.
The school with the most points (worst / most attacks) would then be named the best school.

This issue has already hit most counties and all counties throughout the uk.

Posters have been shared on social media and encourage children to turn everyday school objects such as compasses and scissors into weapons. Some posters have escalated this and include things like knives and fireworks.

Schools all over have issued warnings to parents and have asked them to try get their kids to their children to avoid any situations or groups that may be risky. Some have even suggested keeping the kids indoors.

A spokeswoman told BirminghamLive: "We're aware of reports in the West Midlands and nationally suggesting children from some schools are planning to take part in organised fights.

"We are speaking to schools locally and offering them support where necessary.

"We'd urge parents to speak to their children around their use of social media and other online platforms to ensure they are staying safe."

Police all over are aware and in many areas are attending the schools around home time to try prevent any incidents.

Please check your children's devices and forward any information found regarding planned aggression to your local police force as some areas are gone as far as to allocate specific dates, times and locations for fights to happen.
