Indigo Arts

Indigo Arts Indigo arts is an arts charity, working to increase the accessibility of high quality arts provision to the whole community by whatever means possible.

Over the last 20 years Indigo has funded highly successful projects, performances and
workshops in a variety of arts/performing arts disciplines. It has had an average of 100 children, young people, adults & learning disabled adults registered in regular provision at any one time, as well as attracting further participation through short-term projects and one-off events. It is open to all, and con

tinues to attract new people to its provision each year. The majority of activities undertaken are made possible by voluntary work from both the adults and young people involved. It is the Indigo ethos to put something back into the community that supports the organisation, that is why those involved give up so much time to rehearse and perform, to support community events, to involve themselves in the heritage & culture of the town and to share their skill, talent and knowledge with others. Indigo also offers advice, consultancy and support to other community organisations and individuals, as well as making resources available to those who might not otherwise be able to access them. Everything Indigo does it is initiated and driven by those within its community.

A very busy evening of rehearsal last night. Our amazing children worked on their song and skipping rope choreo, we ran through our big group numbers and the Needle Women polished harmonies for their opening song!
