💜🐾 200,000 PET MEALS — SO MUCH MORE THAN JUST A NUMBER.
🎉 Today marks an incredible milestone for Animal FoodBank UK!
Since December 2022, we’ve now provided OVER 200,000 PET MEALS to help families facing financial hardship across England, Scotland and Wales.
An achievement we’re immensely proud of, but one that also comes with mixed emotions.
Because behind those 200,000 meals is a heartbreaking reality. Far too many families are struggling to afford even the basics, including food for their beloved pets.
❤️ For so many people, pets are much more than companions. They are family.
They offer unconditional love, comfort, security and emotional support. They bring happiness, purpose and routine to difficult days. For some, they are their only companion, their reason to get up each morning, or a vital source of assistance, guidance and independence.
They are there through illness, loneliness, grief and life’s toughest moments, offering love without judgement.
The thought of someone having to lose that special bond simply because they cannot afford pet food is heartbreaking.
We are incredibly proud to have provided 200,000 meals, but we wish there wasn’t a need for a single one of them.
💜 To our amazing volunteers, generous donors, businesses, partners and everyone who has supported us along the way — THANK YOU!
Without you, none of this would have been possible.
🐾 You are helping us do so much more than fill empty bowls. You are helping keep families together.
