Animal FoodBank UK Needs a Permanent Home

As Animal FoodBank UK continues to grow and support pet owners facing financial hardship across the United Kingdom, we are now seeking a permanent premises to rent.

Currently, our stock is spread across three separate storage locations, all of which are either kindly provided free of charge or at a very low cost. While we are incredibly grateful for this support, managing stock across multiple sites is becoming increasingly challenging as demand for our services continues to increase.

Animal FoodBank UK is a registered charity based in Redditch, Worcestershire, and while we provide support to communities across the UK, we are keen to keep our operational base within the Redditch area and continue contributing to the local community that has supported us since our formation.

A single warehouse, industrial unit, or large storage facility would allow us to:

* Centralise and manage stock more efficiently.
* Increase our storage capacity for donated pet food.
* Improve distribution to our volunteer network.
* Reduce operational costs and travel between sites.
* Create a stable base for future growth and community projects.
* Develop a stronger local hub for volunteers, partners, and supporters.

Since launching in December 2022, Animal FoodBank UK has grown rapidly, working with over 100 volunteers nationwide and supporting referrals from organisations including Citizens Advice, Social Services, the RSPCA, Blue Cross, local authorities, and other community partners. As demand for our service continues to rise, securing a permanent home has become one of our most important priorities.

We are looking for a suitable premises in Redditch or the surrounding area and would welcome conversations with landlords, businesses, local authorities, property owners, and community organisations who may be able to help. We would also be grateful for introductions to anyone with available warehouse, industrial, retail, or storage space that could be offered at a charitable or reduced rate.

Together, we can ensure that no pet goes hungry and no family is forced to choose between feeding themselves and feeding their beloved pet.

Quite simply, Animal FoodBank UK would not exist without you.

Whether you collect donations, deliver pet food, run drop-in sessions, help with admin, support fundraising events, organise storage, moderate our Facebook group, transport stock across the country, or simply give your time whenever you can – every contribution matters.

Together, our volunteer team has grown to around 140 incredible people, all united by one goal: keeping pets fed and keeping families together during difficult times.

So far in 2026 alone, we have provided over 29,500 pet meals, helping thousands of animals across England, Scotland and Wales. Those meals represent wagging tails, purring cats, grateful owners, and pets staying where they belong – at home with the people who love them.

Every parcel packed, every donation collected, every mile driven, every message answered, and every event attended has helped make this possible.

You are the heart of Animal FoodBank UK.
