💜 What a very special day at Woodrow.
It was a real privilege for Anita Hughes-Arthur , Robert Miller and Mel Beer to represent Animal FoodBank UK today and to hear first-hand about the incredible work being done across the Woodrow community.
Animal FoodBank UK runs a pet food drop-in at Woodrow Hub every other Friday, supporting local people who are struggling to feed their pets, so it was lovely to be included as part of the wider partnership working taking place there.
We were especially honoured to spend time talking with Worcestershire’s Lord-Lieutenant, Mrs Beatrice Grant, and her aide Isobel, who both showed such genuine interest in the work we do and the support we provide to people and their pets.
A really moving and memorable day, and one we were very proud to be part of. 💜🐾

The visit showcased the strength of partnership working in Woodrow, with residents, volunteers, community groups and public services coming together to improve health, wellbeing and opportunities for local people.
Woodrow has benefited from significant Public Health support that brings together advice services, wellbeing support, family activities, youth provision, community outreach and practical help for residents.
Thank you to everyone who joined the walkabout and continues to help make Woodrow a stronger, healthier and more connected community.
