Strong teams are not built by expecting people to keep pushing through exhaustion.

They are built by creating environments where employees can pause, recharge, and reconnect.

Our corporate wellbeing programme includes creative workshops, movement-based sessions, mindfulness experiences, and therapist-led introductions to arts therapies. Every session is designed to support emotional wellbeing at work while strengthening team culture and engagement.

Whether you are planning a wellbeing day, staff event, or ongoing programme, we can help shape something your team will genuinely value.

People with learning disabilities bring strengths, perspectives, creativity, and talents that enrich our schools, workplaces, and communities.

Yet too often, attention is placed on what someone cannot do rather than what they can.

This Learning Disability Week, we're encouraging organisations and communities to look beyond assumptions and recognise the value that every individual brings.

At Arts Therapies UK, we believe everyone deserves opportunities to develop confidence, express themselves, and be recognised for their unique strengths.

Because inclusion is not about lowering expectations. It's about creating opportunities for everyone to succeed.

Learning Disability Week is an opportunity to celebrate the strengths, talents, and individuality of people with learning disabilities.

At Arts Therapies UK, we recognise that communication looks different for everyone. Not every thought, feeling, or experience is easily expressed through conversation alone.

Creative approaches can help people explore emotions, build confidence, and express themselves in ways that feel natural and accessible to them.

This week, we're celebrating the importance of creating environments where every individual feels valued, included, and able to be themselves.

For eight years, Arts Therapies UK has been proud to work alongside Fortis Academy and Sixth Form, supporting the emotional wellbeing of students through Art Psychotherapy.

Long-term partnerships like this allow us to become part of a school's wider wellbeing journey, helping create safe spaces where young people can express themselves, build resilience, and access support when they need it most.

Thank you to the staff, students, and leadership team at Fortis Academy for eight years of collaboration and shared commitment to student wellbeing. Here's to continuing that work together.

Burnout is often the result of prolonged pressure, constant demands, and too little space to reset.

That is why proactive wellbeing support matters.

Our workplace wellbeing sessions give employees time to step away from day-to-day pressure and engage in activities that support reflection, creativity, stress regulation, and team connection. Whether delivered as lunch-and-learns, after-work events, or larger wellbeing days, sessions are tailored to your organisation and your teams.

Supporting staff wellbeing is not just good for employees, it strengthens morale, engagement, and retention too.

High-pressure environments require more than passive wellbeing initiatives.

Our corporate wellbeing sessions are designed to help teams actively switch off from workplace pressure through creative, reflective, and engaging experiences. From Sip & Paint and pottery workshops to drumming, sound baths, and therapist-led wellbeing sessions, each experience is shaped around your people and your workplace culture.

The goal is simple: create practical wellbeing support that employees genuinely value and remember long after the session ends.

For some pupils, difficulties with attendance are rooted in anxiety, trauma, emotional overwhelm, or unmet SEND needs rather than disengagement from learning itself.

Schools across London are increasingly recognising the value of therapeutic support in helping children feel emotionally safe, regulated, and able to re-engage with education.

At Arts Therapies UK, our HCPC-registered therapists work alongside SENCOs, pastoral teams, and school staff to support pupils experiencing:

• Anxiety and emotionally based school avoidance
• Trauma and attachment difficulties
• Autism-related challenges
• SEMH and behavioural needs

Our creative therapeutic interventions are designed to support emotional wellbeing, improve engagement, and strengthen readiness to learn within the school environment.

We are currently speaking with schools planning therapeutic provision for the next academic year and would be happy to discuss your setting’s needs. Find out more - https://www.artstherapiesuk.org.uk/schools
