A sophisticated database maintains a record of progress and contact with the College. It also helps to facilitate work experience for pupils and young OBs, and re-unites lost friends. Every member of the Society is offered the Bradfieldian magazine online

🏌⛳Bradfield was delighted to host the Centenary Golf Day for the Old Bradfieldian Golfing Society at the College Golf course this weekend. All ages and abilities were represented and whilst sunshine turned to showers, all the attendees appeared to have a good time nonetheless. The course was in magnificent condition, many thanks to the Grounds team and also to the Catering Team for the most fantastic lunch 😀

In 2006 Medea was performed in Bradfield's Greek Theatre for the first time. Directed by John J Taylor, it was a wonderfully staged, with the orchestra filled with sand and even flooded to create the shoreline upon which the play unfolded… the role of a vengeful Medea was shared by Zara Farrar (J 04-06), Emily-Ann Cheese (K 05-07) and Megan Stodel (I 05-07) whilst Ben Baxter (E 01-06) took on the role of the duplicitous Jason.

The late Major Piers de Bernieres Smart (D 38-42) commented 'I was enthralled by what I saw and learned… John Taylor and his entire Medea team deserve thanks for this fine production of this ancient plan with strong relevance to modern times, It was excellent entertainment .. in the widest sense of the word.'

Join us in the Greek Theatre from Sunday 21 June to see how the 2026 cast tackle Euripides' Medea. Tickets are available from Bradfield Ticket Source, https://www.ticketsource.com/bradfieldevents

Over the Half Term break we were delighted to host Peter Clark (E 54-58) who returned to Bradfield with his grandson for a tour of the College grounds.

Peter kindly made a gift in support of the Health and Wellness Centre in the name of his son, Graham Clark (E 90-91), who spent happy times in the 6th Form at Bradfield before losing his battle with cancer two years later. We are incredibly grateful for his generosity.

Peter was also delighted to see the Winston Churchill collection he gifted to the College on display in the St Andrew's Study Centre. 📖😀

🥂🍾So brilliant to welcome over 100 alumni to our inaugural Alumni London Drinks event at the Oriental Club on Tuesday 19 May. It was wonderful to see groups from across the ages of Bradfieldians - spanning leavers from 1962 until 2022 - congregate at this central London venue, keen to catch up with Bradfield friends.

Many thanks to our guest speakers Chris Bake (F 77-82) and Olympic Gold-medalist Sir Ben Ainslie, co-owners of the Emirates Great Britain SailGP Team for sharing a fascinating insight into the emergent sport of Sail GP and their 2025 series treble win.

Current pupils and keen sailors Oscar (E) and Bella (J) were also delighted to chat with Ben Ainslie to learn about his sailing journey and the development opportunities that exist in the sport through the Athena Pathway Programme

Huge thanks to the Oriental Club for hosting us and to all the alumni who attended for making it such a special evening.
