📢 Important Update for HMP Kirkham Visitors and Families

Due to ongoing health and safety issues, all domestic visits at HMP Kirkham have been temporarily suspended and no visits will be available to book up to and including 21 September 2026.

Work is currently being carried out to address the issue. If the necessary works are completed sooner than expected, domestic visits will be reinstated at the earliest opportunity and a further update will be provided.

✅ Video visits pre booked will continue to take place as normal.

All residents at HMP Kirkham have been informed of the situation and are aware that domestic visits are currently unavailable. They have also been encouraged to communicate this information with their families and loved ones.

We understand this news may be disappointing for families and friends, and we appreciate your patience and understanding while the work is completed.

We will share further updates as soon as more information becomes available.

Thank you for your cooperation.

✨ Today we launch our new brand! ✨

POPS has always stood for families – and our refreshed identity and new website are here to reflect that more clearly than ever.

Over the coming weeks, you’ll start to see our new look across our website, leaflets, social media and in our visitor centres. Please know that while our appearance is changing, the heart of what we do remains the same. We are still here to support you and your family, just as we always have.

Our rebrand is about making it easier for families to feel connected, informed, and supported. It honours our history while showing the breadth of what we do today—supporting families both inside and outside the justice system, creating spaces where lived experience is heard, and making sure families feel valued and empowered.

We’re also excited to share our new website...

A simpler, more accessible way to find information, services, and resources.

We would love to hear your feedback on the new brand via our quick 4 question survey:
