Stay home in the hot weather pooches! 🐶

Between April 2025 and March 2026, you helped us collect 3.55 tonnes of batteries for recycling – that's 1.35 tonnes more than the year before.

⚠️ Batteries should never go in your wheeled bins – they can cause fires and put our collection teams at risk.

If you're not already recycling yours, it's easy: pop them in a Fylde battery bag or a clear sandwich bag, seal it, and leave it on top of your blue or brown wheeled bin on collection day.
