Unfortunately, tonights planned Water Safety Test will no longer be taking place.

Cadets should instead attend the unit in civvies, for a normal parade night ⚓

We would like to extend our Congratulaions to our very new Lance Corporal Rielly, an amazing acheivement on your Credit Pass on your Promotions Board this weekend.

The promotions board is a culminations of training and progress through the Royal Marines Cadets training sylibus as the cadets are assessed in the following areas,

Drill and Turnout,
Military Map Reading,
Fieldcraft,
RMC and SCC general knowledge.
Weapons Handling Skills (please note all weapons handing is cunducted under strict suppervision by fully qualified Skill At Arms Instructors).

Joining Royal Marines Cadets could be the perfect challenge.

Who can join?

👥 Young people aged 13–18
👥 Volunteers over 18

What do cadets do?

Every week is different. Cadets get the chance to:

🏕️ Learn fieldcraft and outdoor skills
🧭 Try navigation and adventure training
⛵️ Learn water-sports, such as sailing and kayaking
💪 Build teamwork and leadership
🎖️ Take part in drill and ceremonial events
🚑 Learn first aid and practical life skills

It’s all about confidence, resilience and teamwork — inspired by the values of the Royal Marines.

When do we meet?

📅 Our Detachments parade on week nights, dependant on location:
