After three years of serving our local community, we are very sorry to announce that The Sanctuary Crisis Intervention Hub will be closing its doors. Today 25th August being its last day.
It has been an absolute privilege to support so many people within our community over the past three years. We are incredibly proud of what The Sanctuary has been able to provide and of the difference it has made to those who have reached out to us during some of their most difficult times.
Unfortunately, due to ongoing financial constraints and our inability to secure the pockets of funding needed to keep the service sustainable, and not having enough volunteers, we have had to make the difficult decision to close.
We would like to sincerely thank everyone who has supported The Sanctuary along the way, our volunteers, those who have donated, local organisations and businesses, and everyone who has believed in what we were trying to achieve.
Special thanks goes to Carol Shearn and Bowditch for their incredible contribution,
Time, effort and dedication to the project. Without them we would never have lasted as long as we have.
We wish everyone who has used and supported The Sanctuary all the very best for the future.
Although The Sanctuary is closing, Reflexions Therapy Services remains available, and anyone who finds themselves in need of support is welcome to get in touch. Where we are unable to provide the help required directly, we will always do our best to signpost or direct you towards other services that may be able to support you.
Thank you for allowing us to serve this wonderful community for the past three and a half years. ❤️
