The B-Friend Hub Omagh The B-Friend Hub has bases in Omagh, Fermanagh and Strabane.

We have a team of trained volunteer befrienders who make morning telephone calls and carry out home visits for older people who may be feeling lonely and/or socially isolated.

đź’™ Celebrating our B-Friend Hub Volunteers during Befriending Week!

This Befriending Week, we want to take a moment to say a HUGE THANK YOU to all our wonderful The B-Friend Hub Omagh volunteers at Omagh Volunteer Centre.

Every day, our volunteers make a real difference to the lives of people in our community. Whether it's making a friendly morning telephone call, taking time for a home visit, sharing a conversation, or simply being there to listen, these small acts of kindness can have an enormous impact.

For someone who may be feeling lonely or isolated, knowing that someone cares, takes the time to check in and looks forward to speaking with them can mean the world.

Our volunteers give their time, compassion and friendship so generously, helping to build connections, reduce loneliness and remind people that they are valued and never forgotten.

We are incredibly grateful for everything you do. Your kindness, commitment and dedication make our B-Friend Hub such a special service and help make our community a more caring and connected place.

🌙⏰ DARK EVENINGS ARE COMING – COMMUNITY SAFE PLACE 🚌🚸

If your child is ever stuck after school, McCullagh’s Classic is here to help. 💛

With the clocks going back and evenings getting darker, our warm, welcoming doors are always open to local children who need somewhere safe to wait.

They can come in if they:

🚌 Miss their school bus or are waiting for collection

📱 Need to use a phone or contact home

đź•’ Need a warm, safe place to wait

🌙 Feel uncomfortable or unsafe outside in the dark

We have a spacious comfortable indoor seating area public sockets for phone charging, and friendly staff ready to offer help and reassurance.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Parents: please point our store out to your children. Let them know where we are and that they can come inside if they ever feel stuck, worried or unsafe.

💛 We’re more than a shop – we’re part of the community, and we’re here to help.

🎄❤️ CHRISTMAS DAY AT THE SUNRISE DINER ❤️🎄

Over the last few months, the local community has shown us so much support, kindness and encouragement, and we would like to give something back. ❤️

This Christmas Day, The Sunrise Diner will be opening from 1pm until 3pm, and we’ll be serving FREE Christmas dinners for anyone who is elderly, spending Christmas alone, or simply in need of a little extra support this Christmas. 🎅🏼❤️

Everyone deserves to have a happy Christmas and a warm, homemade meal, and we want to make sure nobody in our local community feels alone or goes without.

🍽️ Sit-in or takeaway available! Completely FREE of charge.

Main choices:
🎄 Turkey & Ham Dinner
🎄 Roast Beef Dinner

We’ll also have a few choices of starters and desserts available.

There’s absolutely no shame in coming along. Whether you’re elderly, on your own, struggling, or simply could use some company and a hot meal, you are welcome. ❤️

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported The Sunrise Diner, and this is our little way of saying thank you and giving back to the community that has supported us.
