Dear Members,

Politics in Action have kindly invited all members of Families Moving On to attend a special presentation event showcasing the work of 40 young people from our four cross-border partner schools: Loreto Community School, Milford, Co Donegal; The Royal and Prior Comprehensive School, Raphoe, Co Donegal; Magherafelt High School, Co. Derry; and Lismore College, Co. Armagh.

Over the past year, these students have collaborated on an innovative cross-border project funded by the International Fund for Ireland (IFI). During the event, they will present their projects and share the findings of their work. The young people have been working on the following issues and how they impact their communities:
• Segregation and Sectarianism
• Violence Against Women and Girls
• How We Learn Irish
• Political Education
• Mental Health and Drug and Alcohol Misuse

Event Details
Date: Tuesday, 25 November
Time: 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Venue: Strule Arts Centre, Omagh

We are delighted to welcome representatives from each of our four schools, a Board Member from the International Fund for Ireland, as well as TDs and MLAs from the participating constituencies. Your presence would be greatly appreciated as we celebrate the achievements of these inspiring young people and the impact of cross-border collaboration.

This event is free.
