Before Learning SPACE was a shop, we were a family looking for better choices.

Sisters Lorraine, a teacher, and Mary, a social worker, founded Learning SPACE in 2007. Their younger sister Emma inspired the idea, and their sister Naomh joined the business in 2015.

That mix of professional and lived experience still shapes how we work today. We are a team of 14 now, but the questions remain very human: who is this for, how will it be used and does it fit real life?

Nearly twenty years on, the same family is still answering the phone.

⭐ Come and be part of our 5 Star family! ⭐

We’re hoping to welcome some new volunteers to our Monday club. 💜

Volunteering with 5 Star is about so much more than giving up a couple of hours of your time. You’ll get to know an absolutely amazing bunch of people, have plenty of laughs, get involved in different activities and hopefully take away just as much from the experience as you give. 🌟

Whether you already have experience or you’ve never volunteered before, we’d love to hear from you.

Our club meets Mondays from 4pm–6pm, and even a few hours of your time can make such a difference.

💬 Interested or want to know a little more? Send us a private message or comment below and we’ll get in touch.

Please give this a wee share — you never know who might be looking for an opportunity like this. 💜⭐

We are delighted to announce that our wonderful client James Martin has been confirmed for roles in both an upcoming television series and a feature film!

Already recognised for his work on How To Get To Heaven From Belfast, Marcella, the Academy Award-winning An Irish Goodbye, and Ups & Downs, James continues to build an impressive and varied body of work on screen.

Two exciting projects lie ahead, and we could not be prouder to see his career flourish.

Congratulations, James!

Well done to our trainees Mark, Christopher, Peter and Keith on completing their CPR Training! 🌟

As a part of their job club, each trainee, supported by their Employment Officers Tara and Charlene, took part in CPR training and gained certificates which are accredited by the British Heart Foundation.
