🎉 We are incredibly proud to share that the Healthier Me Ambassadors have been shortlisted as finalists in the Active Award category of the BBC Make a Difference Awards 2026!
This recognition celebrates a remarkable group of people with a learning disability who use their lived experience to champion healthier, more active lifestyles and inspire others across Northern Ireland.
Through the Healthier Me programme, our Ambassadors have helped raise awareness of health inequalities, encouraged people to get active, shared their personal experiences, and demonstrated the positive impact that physical activity can have on health, wellbeing and confidence.
Their passion, commitment and leadership continue to make a real difference in their communities, helping to ensure that people with a learning disability have opportunities to live healthier, happier lives.
We are honoured to see their dedication recognised by the BBC Make A Difference Awards and look forward to celebrating with fellow finalists at the awards ceremony in September.
