🎉 Emmanuel House is celebrating 50 years!

For five decades, Emmanuel House has been supporting people experiencing homelessness in Nottingham.

To mark the occasion, they're holding a special fundraising evening on Thursday 8 October from 7pm at St Mary’s in the Lace Market.

Expect live performances from Belters Choir, Sing It Bold Grassroots Vocal Choir and Streetlamps, plus a bar and refreshments.

🎟️ Tickets are £11.55, with all funds raised going to Emmanuel House.

More employment rights changes are coming in October. 📅

If you employ staff, there are several changes under the Employment Rights Act 2025 that could affect your organisation.

From 1 October, most Employment Tribunal claim time limits will increase from three months to six months.

From 30 October, further changes are expected around trade union rights, industrial action, public sector outsourcing and sexual harassment.

Not every charity's services are overseen by a subject-specific regulator.

So how do you make sure your services are safe, effective and meeting the right standards?
