We need your help❗️

Today, we’re reaching out to our community with one of the most important appeals in our history. We urgently need to raise £75,000 by the 31st of March to secure our building on Goose Gate and protect our services for decades to come.

https://www.emmanuelhouse.org.uk/we-need-your-help-just-75000-left-to-secure-emmanuel-houses-future/

Nottingham City Council has generously offered us the chance to purchase our building outright. This is something we’ve never been able to do before. It means every service we provide, every meal we cook, every life we help rebuild will have a stable and permanent home. The full cost of the purchase is £535,000, we’ve already raised around £460,000. Now we’re asking the community to help us close the final gap.

🌟 This is where you come in 🌟

Whether you live in Nottingham, love the city, or simply believe that everyone deserves safety and dignity, you can make a real difference:

💚 Donate any amount
No amount is too small. £5, £10, £20… everything helps: https://app.donorfy.com/form/5XON0ATD70/4XTOQ

🏹 Share our appeal
Tell a friend. Share the link online. Mention us at work or to your neighbours. Raising awareness is just as powerful as donating.

🍰 Hold a mini‑fundraiser
A bake sale, a sponsored walk, a dress‑down day at work – small ideas can have big impact.

We have until 31st March – and we believe we can do this together. Thank you, from all of us at Emmanuel House, for standing with us at this crucial moment.

Our volunteers have been busy all winter developing new spaces on The Nursery for a new and impoved cut flower patch, a whole new plot for community veg and lots more habitats for wildlife.

We're enjoying seeing the blossom forming on the trees ready for the world's pollinators and our newly built deadhedges are the perfect shelter for hedgehogs, insects and nesting birds.

It's been muddy, wet and unglamourous work, but all worth it in the long run as spring starts to arrive, like a big thank you present!

What a wonderfully busy day of workshops that took place on Saturday.

Leo spent the morning on St Anns Community Orchard sharing his fruit tree pruning knowledge, surrounded by snowdrops and some winter sunshine, and of course lots of trees!

Paul also led a brilliant full-day permaculture workshop, including a trip to Ecoworks Community Garden to see their sustainable practices in action. The crocuses were out in full bloom up there, spring is almost here.

Thank you to everyone who joined us - we hope to see you again soon.

Progress on Plot 3!

Our volunteers have been working incredibly hard over the last few months to help clear a whole plot towards the top of our Nursery site.

Clearing this plot will provide additional space for growing more produce as part of our Community Harvest initiative.

Lots of exciting plans for this space - we can't wait to show you more as we progress even further in the Spring sunshine!
