Well that’s it for this years opening for the NGS!
Aprons and tablecloths washed.
So far we have raised £4000.00 and still odd bits to count! We couldn’t do it without our band of volunteers -Derek, Ann, Carol, Clare, Mary, Jess, Jordan, Fiona, Ailsa, Alison, Flo, Jean, Jo, Ann (another one), Marian, Collette and Richard. A big thank to them all👍👍
Another big thank you to everyone that visited, ate cake, drank tea and coffee and bought plants supporting this very worthy charity.
Feet up now? No chance - still plenty to do in the garden before winter!

Last opening for the NGS today and what a turnout! And the rain didn’t materialise so a bonus.
When I’ve come down from my euphoric cloud I’ll add up the takings and post. Thank you to everyone that has supported us this year. You are all amazing.

Tomorrow is the last opening for the NGS this year. Come and visit our tropical / jungle garden and see some amazing plants while supporting a very worthwhile charity.

Tomorrow’s the day! Come and visit Honeytrees Tropical Garden. Exotic, jungle and tropical in Leicestershire would you believe!!

Only 3 days to go till we open on Sunday 16th for the NGS. Just turn up. No need to book. Tea/ coffee and homemade cakes and plant sales. Plenty of parking.
Hope to see lots of people supporting this very worthwhile charity.

What a glorious day 😎
A few flowers that caught my eye.
Pleased the Judas tree has started to flower. Also Beschornia has a huge bud.
In the Dome the Araujia Sericifer - Cruel plant seed pods are exploding and they’ll be growing everywhere!
A few from the conservatory jungle too
