There's no better way to tell our story than through the eyes of the children and young people we engage with - they say it so much better than we ever can! Here is Grace's story. Thank you Grace, you are a superstar!
"My name is Grace and I am 15. I have been going to Belvoir Bees for seven years, taking part in the 20‑week Kwik Cricket programme each year.
I'd played a bit of cricket but when Darren came into the school I really enjoyed his sessions and decided I would like to attend as an activity outside of school. I enjoyed Bees from the start - the games, teamwork, and fun atmosphere.
Over the years, I became more confident in my skills, and I now enjoy helping out. I support the younger players by demonstrating drills, helping set up activities, and encouraging them when they are learning something new.
I really enjoy being able to help others, and it has taught me leadership, patience, and communication. It has also helped me build confidence in myself, both on and off the pitch.
Cricket keeps me active and has allowed me to be more social and communicate with people from all ages. Belvoir Bees has always been welcoming and the coaches provide a supportive atmosphere, that you feel proud to be part of. They have encouraged me from the beginning.
This has helped me develop and progress into my next chapter as I now wish to become a nurse. The fact that Belvoir Bees has been there and has allowed me to develop in this way has really had an impact and has made me believe that I will have the skills to be able to adapt to this hopeful future career pathway."

What a day !
Brilliant day with Stathern primary school until the thunder and lightning and the hail which left the ground looking like it had snowed !
The school and our amazing team and our amazing team of volunteers were brilliant and adapted where they could to ensure the kids had a great day.
Well done team

We're grateful to Keith, Andy and Chris of the Walking with Dinosaurs group for raising £225 for BEST. They took part in our recent Belvoir Castle to Trent Bridge challenge, covering 23 miles of the Grantham Canal. They are pictured with fellow participant and BEST coach Max who has just about recovered! The total raised was a mix of personal donations and sponsorship from Chris' employer the Co-op. Thank guys, a great effort for a good cause, and we hope you enjoyed the cricket and refreshments at the finish -op
