Our Scout Hall is starting to look very overgrown and wild, and as much as we'd love to blend in with the great outdoors our space has become almost unusable.

Please can you help us to get this under control and donate some time and binspace, so our young people can use this space again.

Tonight Beavers and Cubs braved the heat to do some litter picking at Woodthorpe Park. There was a nice cool breeze in the shade.
They finished the night with ice lollies and an impromptu water fight using PPE gloves.

Two events that are being run by our leaders who are also attending Central Notts Scouts Paris trip, in October.
These events will help support the funding further young people on the trip, some of whom are part of Porchester Scout Group and our feeder Explorer Unit, Phoenix.

Please help where you can, if you can't attend how about donating a prize. As they say every little helps.

WE HAVE NEW SCOUT QUIZ CHAMPIONS! 🏆

Congratulations to team 'Cheese, Pickle and Pepperoni Sandwiches' from 1st Porchester who claimed their victory with a very impressive fast answer in the final tie breaker question!

A special thank you to 3rd Woodthorpe for being amazing hosts for this years quiz, to all of the adult volunteers for bringing their troops, and to the young people for joining in with this years quiz.

A big thank you to the Explorers from Viking ESU, Gemini ESU, Peppers ESU, Fortis ESU and Colliers ESU for writing this years questions for the Scouts to answer.
