🚨 STILL MISSING 5.2.26🚨 # PLEASE SHARE

Our dog Ziggy went missing from Moel Famau on 28th December.

🐾 Breed: Sprocker (Cocker Spaniel × Springer Spaniel)
🐾 Size: Medium
🐾 Colour / markings: Chocolate brown with greyish speckles on his chest and a grey beard
🐾 Wearing: Green fluorescent harness
🐾 Microchipped
🐾 Collar & tag: Name on tag says JASMINE with a phone number (he was wearing our neighbour’s dog collar for safety as she frequently takes him for walks.)

A year on and someone knows the answers....

He was missing for 18 months!

Dearest Angels,

Apologies for being so quiet, but I couldn't let today pass without acknowledgement .

Today marks a year since the discovery of my precious boy Digby X

Im still left, not knowing who had him for 18 months or how he got into a locked, secure, unused empty building at Acorn Park ?!
It haunts me every day, not knowing the truth....

I fully believe he hadn't been dead 18 months, more like a few weeks, as he still looked like Digby. He hadn't been living wild as was clean and not matted.
He fought to the bitter end to get out of the room he got stuck in or was put in as it was a self closing door,he didn't stand a chance....so close to home but not far enough.

Someone had him, and someone local knows the truth ?! Im still desperate for the real truth of who had him.

I'm still left with so many unanswered questions a year on....

Digbys angels have flew the nest over the last year. I personally can't carry it on anymore on my own as it stands.

I just have Meg left my absolute side kick. She was recently ill and didn't think she was going to make it but glad to say she is back to herself.

Two years ago this picture was taken. Ada, you are so so loved and missed everyday. We will never give up on you my sweet girl.

The cameras and food stations are still active in the area that she was last seen, but sadly we have had no sightings or luck with the cameras since her last sighting on 31st January 2025.

Hoping that she has found somewhere warm, dry, and with plenty of food and water with enough space to roam unseen… as was probably the case last year.

Forever hoping we get the breakthrough that we need and that my baby will be home again soon.

As always, so grateful to the people that follow us, wish us well, and who are actively helping still. To the landowners and to DogLost you are incredible.

I hope one day Ada and I can say thank you properly and fully repay everyone for their kindness.

Good morning Digbys Angels 😇 🌞
Just a little bit of advice I'm asking you to share far and wide.
It was because 🎉 DAISY HAS BEEN FOUND!!!! 👏❤️🐾🐾WELCOME HOME DAISY DOG!! 🍾🥂 had kept their microchip details up to date they were able to be reunited after 7yrs. 🤗😍❤️👍
We recommend you get your vet to scan and check the chip is working when you next visit and periodically after that. Also check in with the company you are registered with to make sure all phone numbers and details are up to date.
We also recommend trackers for all dogs and hope to be working with some companies to bring you reviews of the best trackers to go for. There are many new ways of keeping tabs on your fur babies now so it's a matter of researching the best thing for you..

Morning Angels 😇
Just a big thank you for all your offers of help and support with Digbys Angels . 🙏
We have had a brilliant response and look forward to meeting up with new volunteers next month. We will be in touch.

We are still keeping our fingers crossed for Ada Missing Ada The Whippet and Sage and all the other long term missing dogs in our area.
We have to keep positive and after the story of Daisy the labrador reunited after 7yrs there's always that glimmer of hope ❤️

Dearest Angels 😇,
I hope this message finds you well 💗
I'd just like to thank each and every one of you for your heartfelt condolences and supportive messages on the loss of our beautiful Ruby. They really have meant the world to me after a really horrific last journey with her, but it was Digbys Angels 😇 that saved the day !

It has taken me quite some time to process the discovery of Digby at the end of last year and to grieve for my precious boy and now Ruby, too.
Although I'm grateful to have said goodbye to Digby and now have him home alongside Ruby, I still have so many unanswered questions. There is a year unaccounted for, and I still wrestle with wanting to know where he was or who he was with.....🤔

HOWEVER, I have decided the way for me to get full closure is to let go of the "what ifs" and turn a negative into a positive.
Everywhere I go, I still bump into you angels who show me nothing but kindness and compassion. You all have your stories of how the search for Digby touched you over those 18months so I've come up with the idea💡 of compiling those stories into a book📖 as a tribute to our precious community dog digs...🐶this would be a lasting legacy to him but I need your help. 🙏

I would love you to send in your story, be as creative or outside the box as you like, perhaps you'd like to tell me how you first discovered Help find Digby or how you helped in anyway with the search. Maybe you would like to write me a story of his adventures during the year he was missing? Maybe the kids or grandkids would like to send some drawings? Make me smile, make me cry, it's up to you, but it would mean the world to put together all the amazing memories of strangers being kind and giving me the strength to carry on.❤️

You have to dream big💭 and I always joked that this Incredible journey should be a film or a book so this is our first step as a fundraiser for Digbys Angels. We will create and print the book and it will be available for you all to purchase. Any money raised goes towards supporting owners of lost dogs in Norfolk. The book will keep the memory alive of our dear Digby and how he touched the hearts of thousands of people.

Good morning angels 😇 Jo from Digbys Angels here... I hope you are all well . 🙏It's been a while since I posted to this page so I wanted to check in with you all and give you a brief update.

THIS TIME LAST YEAR we were out all hours of the day and night searching after a possible sighting in Kenninghall..could that have been Digby after all making his way back home? We still ruminate where he was for a year and we still pray that one day someone will come forward and fill in the gaps and give everyone peace of mind.

It's been a hard few months since the discovery of our precious Digby. It seemed like the world stopped that fateful day in October when we got the news that he had crossed rainbow bridge..the whole situation was hard to process for everyone involved in the search and Vicki and I felt overwhelmed.

Sadly the nightmare didn't stop there and 3 weeks later I lost my beautiful boy sonny Jim to old age and diabetes and it took its toll on my mental health.
Christmas came and went in a blur and we were hoping for a settled start to the year and to move forward with our plans for Digbys angels.

Sadly this wasn't to be and 3 weeks ago Vicki suffered yet more trauma when she and the family had to say goodbye to Ruby digbys sister.💔 She fought so hard against the odds but her time came and after Vicki and I had a nightmare final journey with her on a stormy Sunday afternoon she is now at peace and home beside her beloved brother Digby. Even on that day his angels 😇 were there to help us and we can't thank Ben and his wife lyndsay and Niall for all their help that day. They went above and beyond and their kindness will never be forgotten.

This whole journey has been about the kindness of strangers and bringing the community together. We want to move forward with Digbys angels and support owners of lost dogs in the future, despite everything going on for us separately in our private lives Vicki and I feel we have created something special out of a heartbreaking situation something that is a lasting legacy to Digby.

We have formed our committee, written our constitution and are looking for anyone willing to join us to fill various roles. We have been advising behind the scenes and Digbys drone has been out on loan helping to search for some of the dogs you may have seen on missing/lost dog pages.
We are also looking for people interested in becoming a drone pilot..if that's you then please get in touch we would be delighted to hear from you.
As ever I want to thank you all for continuing to support our work. We are grateful for shares, likes and comments on our content, this all helps raise awareness of those dear missing fur babies that we all want to see reunited. We are grateful for personal messages of support and for those of you who still practically help us.
You're all totally awesome and we couldn't do it without you.
