Congratulations to our AMIS Jazz Festival musicians on a weekend of truly incredible performances! We are so grateful for the world-class guidance of our clinicians: Brian White and Dan Hartig leading the Instrumental Jazz Skills Workshop, the incomparable Rosana Eckert leading the Vocal Jazz Skills Workshop, Liam Callan directing the Honor Big Band, and Joy Edenfield directing the Honor Vocal Jazz Ensemble. A massive thank you to our gracious hosts at The American School in London, especially David Papenhagen, Dylan Norcross, and Anna Salmi, alongside the combo coaches, assistants, teachers, and chaperones who worked tirelessly to make this event possible. It is officially travel day, and we cannot wait to welcome musicians and clinicians from across four continents to the AMIS Jazz Festival, hosted by The American School in London! Over the next three days, students from 21 schools will collaborate and play together in the Honor Big Band, Honor Vocal Jazz Ensemble, Instrumental Jazz Workshop, and Vocal Jazz Workshop, all culminating in multiple spectacular performances. Safe travels to everyone heading to the UK, and we will see you soon! ✈️🎷

This is an informal, open space to exchange ideas, share resources, and explore ways to expand your department’s offerings using modern and global genres. We’ve added a later time slot specifically to accommodate our Latin American audience and those who teach on Sundays! 🙌
