A little bit of puppy love on the page today! 🐶🤎
This handsome boy is ours, and he’s enjoying his chill and a lot of love. 🥰 He has a lovely life ahead of him, filled with lots of love, amazing adventures and plenty of beautiful walks. 🐾🌿
He will be a little part of our rescue family too. 🥹❤️🦦

This young polecat arrived with us in a very poor condition. After weeks of care, rehabilitation and plenty of good food, today was the day we opened the door to his soft release pen.

Rather than rushing off, he spent time carefully exploring his surroundings, sniffing every log and leaf as he took in the sights and smells of his new home. It was wonderful to watch him doing exactly what a wild polecat should.

We’ll continue to monitor him and provide supplementary food while he gains confidence and settles back into life in the wild.

Moments like these make all the hard work worthwhile. Thank you to everyone who supports our rehabilitation work and helps give wildlife a second chance. ❤️🦡

Wildlife Rescue Diary 🦦🌿

Not-so-baby Gerald the polecat has reached another exciting milestone… he’s now settled into his soft release pen.

This is where Gerald can continue to build his confidence while getting used to the sights, sounds and smells of the wild before he takes his final steps to freedom.

We’ve also installed a wildlife camera, so we’ll be keeping a close eye on what goes on around his pen—and we’re just as curious to see which of his wild neighbours come to say hello!

It’s an exciting chapter in Gerald’s journey. Watch this space… we can’t wait to share what the camera captures! 📹🖤🤍
