Search & Rescue Dog Association Anglia

Search & Rescue Dog Association Anglia SARDA Anglia Search Dogs volunteer to assist in searching for missing people Qualified Handlers are on call 24/7, all year round.

Like the more famous Mountain Rescue units, SARDA Anglia Search Dogs volunteer to assist in a wide range of incidents. From lost walkers, those suffering from Alzheimer’s or Dementia to missing children, despondent people and possible victims of crime. We have previously worked for the Police in Norfolk, Suffolk, and Cambridgeshire, also we have worked alongside various search teams accross the U

K, all SARDA Anglia handlers are trained to a rigorous standard in dog-handling, search tactics and the protection of crime scenes. Though each handler is assisted by a navigator, they will rely strongly on their own skills and resources to fulfill the demands of the work. Everyone gives their time entirely voluntarily, with all expenses met from their own pockets and through much appreciated fund raising efforts from vital helpers and willing volunteers.
