We're proud to share that Northamptonshire Mind has been awarded the Mind Quality Mark. 🎉

The Mind Quality Mark is a rigorous quality assurance standard that recognises local Minds delivering safe, effective and life-changing support for people experiencing mental health problems.

The assessment includes a detailed review of evidence and feedback from trustees, staff, volunteers and people who use our services.

A huge thank you to our staff, volunteers, trustees, partners and everyone who shared their experiences as part of the assessment. This recognition reflects the dedication, compassion and hard work that goes into supporting local people every day.

As comes to a close, we'd like to say a heartfelt thank you to every volunteer who supports Northamptonshire Mind. 💙

Whether you're helping at events, raising funds, supporting our services, serving on our Board of Trustees, volunteering in our shops, sharing your skills, or championing better mental health in your community, your contribution makes a real difference.

Volunteers are woven into every part of our organisation. Through your time, energy and commitment, more people can access support, find connection and feel less alone.

Thank you for everything you do. We simply couldn't achieve what we do without you.

As part of , we’re celebrating the incredible people who give their time, skills and experience to support Northamptonshire Mind. 💙

Today, we’re shining a spotlight on our Chair of Trustees, Raj Rajani.

Raj joined Northamptonshire Mind as a trustee in 2020 and became Chair in 2025, bringing a wealth of professional expertise, compassion and commitment to improving mental health across Northamptonshire.

Trustees are volunteers, giving their time to help shape the future of our charity, provide oversight and ensure we can continue supporting local people when they need us most.

This year, Raj is taking her support one step further. Alongside her son, Ravi, she will be travelling to Tanzania to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa, raising funds and awareness for Northamptonshire Mind.

Speaking about the challenge, Raj said:

“Climbing Kilimanjaro will test us in every way, but we’re proud to do it to help raise awareness and vital funds for a cause we deeply believe in.”

Thank you, Raj, for your leadership, dedication and everything you do as a volunteer to support better mental health across Northamptonshire.

We’re incredibly grateful to Natalie Wood for continuing to turn personal loss into hope for others. 💙

Natalie is hosting her third fundraiser for Northamptonshire Mind in memory of her brother Sam. Through the event, she hopes to continue raising awareness of the links between mental health, grief and addiction, while supporting our work across the county.

We’re truly in awe of her passion, honesty and determination to make these events happen and help ensure others don’t feel alone.
