C2C Grows C2C Social Action is a charity based in both Northamptonshire and Milton Keynes.

Their mission is to support, inspire and motivate people experiencing challenges to move forward with their lives and to contribute positively to society. C2C Social Action’s allotment garden project in Northampton provides a safe and supportive space for women to grow vegetables, fruit, and flowers. Through gardening and community activities, the project helps improve wellbeing, build confidence, and create opportunities for connection and learning.

Join us for a festive evening creating your own beautiful Christmas wreath while supporting C2C Social Action.

Your ticket includes:

All wreath-making materials
Mulled w**e or an alternative drink
A festive sweet treat

We'll also have a gift stall featuring handmade items created by women attending our groups and by our staff team, making it the perfect place to pick up unique Christmas gifts.

Nature Nurtures: A Five Senses Wellbeing Workshop

As part of our recognition of World Mental Health Day, we'll be exploring how nature can support our wellbeing through our five senses. Together we'll create beautiful autumn lanterns to take home, helping to bring light and warmth to the darker days ahead, as well as enjoying a range of mindful, sensory activities designed to boost positive mental health.

At C2C Grows, we provide a safe, welcoming space where women can take a break from the challenges they face, connect with others, and enjoy the benefits of nature. Through gardening, creativity, and community, our allotment offers a place to relax, build confidence, and support wellbeing.

🌿 Gardening Session
Join us as we collect autumn leaves from Thornton Park to add to our vegetable beds. Combined with cardboard and other compostable materials, the leaves will help enrich the soil and improve its structure as they naturally break down over time. It's a great way to make use of seasonal resources while preparing the allotment for future growing.

We are excited to announce our very first C2C Christmas Wreath Fundraising Workshop!

📅 Tuesday 1st December

Join us for a festive evening of creativity and Christmas cheer as you make your own beautiful wreath to take home.

Today we had great fun infusing oils using our very own chillies and herbs. We also made three delicious herbal teas using fresh foliage from our own tea garden. 🍃🫖

And, of course, no tea tasting would be complete without homemade scones! 🫖🧁

A wonderful day of growing, creating, tasting and sharing — all made with ingredients from our own garden. 💚

We’ll be continuing to tidy the site, harvest produce, and create our new herb bed using the hügelkultur process, which we had planned to do last week but didn’t quite get the chance to complete.

🌸 Bloom & Grow Session
This week, Poppy will be leading a session exploring the plants in our tea garden and the delicious flavours they can create, alongside some tasty scones. We’ll also be infusing oils with chillies to use in our cooking sessions over the coming months.

Today we’ve been getting creative and helping our local wildlife! We built a bug hotel (we still need to add a few more things to it!), made bug teepees, created bird cakes and bird feeders, and planted onions and bulbs. 🪴🌷

It was a fantastic hands-on day learning about how we can make our outdoor space a welcoming place for bugs, birds and other wildlife. 🐝🐦🌱

We can’t wait to see what visitors we attract! 💚.

We are thrilled to share that C2C Social Action has been awarded funding from for our Allotment Project! 🌱🥦🌻

Thanks to National Lottery players, this funding will help us expand and nurture our allotment space, creating a welcoming, green environment for our community to grow, connect, and thrive together.
