When you're struggling with housing issues, getting the right advice at the right time can stop a difficult situation becoming a crisis. That's why we're proud to support AdviceUK's campaign during 19-23 October. Advice services are essential local services, yet too often they are overlooked. Investing in the sector and its workforce is critical to ensure everyone can access the support they need.

Here at Community Action Isle of Wight, our Community Law Service provides free, independent, impartial and confidential advice and advocacy for households on the Isle of Wight, focusing primarily on Housing and housing-related Social Care and Benefits issues.

This we're joining AdviceUK in calling for greater long-term investment in the advice sector and workforce. Every day advice services help people resolve problems with debt, housing, benefits, employment, legal issues and more. But rising demand and insecure funding mean too many services are being forced to do more with less. Help us spread the word and advocate for stronger support for advice services across the UK.
