🚨 𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚. 𝗡𝗢 𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡?

Dangerous behaviour on public roads, intimidation and antisocial behaviour, illegal hunting, violence and thuggery. How much more will hunts be allowed to get away with?

Police have recently issued several Community Protection Warnings to hunts - but they're failing to escalate to notices, or caving in to pressure when they do. Are they also issuing warnings to hunts, where they should have pursued criminal charges instead?

That was wildlife campaigner Chris Packham's furious response when we showed him the footage of the Quorn Hunt.

Filmed by Hunt Saboteurs the footage shows hunt staff encouraging hounds to seize and tear at a fox, before attempting to conceal the body.

Residents of COWES, we need your help please.

Over the past few weeks and months, we have had several dead badgers in the area around Baring Road.

Today Friends of the Animals went out to an injured fox in this exact area, but sadly the fox passed away on their arrival.

Due to the fox displaying classic neurological signs, it was taken to a vet for examination.

The vet has said it had no injuries on it at all, and all indications pointed to it being poisoned.

If you live in the area of the length of Baring Road and Crossfield Avenue, Egypt Hill, Battery Road, Ward Avenue, Queens Road, and along the Esplanade, please look out for your pets, and for any sick or deceased wildlife.

If you know of anyone having a problem with badgers, or foxes, maybe digging lawns, or living under sheds, damaging fences, then please get in contact as we can help advise them on a solution. There is also information on our website https://www.badgertrust-isleofwight.co.uk/

If anyone has a rat problem, do not use poison, there are experienced companies on the island who can help you.

It's the 21st Century, the use of poison is barbaric. Wildlife and pets will eat dead and dying rats which will cause secondary poisoning, and they too will also die.

We are all living on a beautiful countryside island full of nature, please don't poison and destroy it.

Police are being made aware.

Just days after a Lauderdale Hunt huntswoman was convicted of illegally hunting a fox with hounds, the Lauderdale is advertising an event encouraging newcomers to discover the joys of 'trail hunting.
