Keeping Mr Kipling and Red together was never going to be guaranteed, after all they've been through, there was a high chance that when they felt better and started to get to know each other in their new home that things wouldn't work out and sure enough, Mr Kipling had started to assert his dominance, unfortunately that included biting Red on his back and drawing blood. Red has been through far too much and his back is still trying to heal, not to mention the bout of gut stasis and bloat he suffered this week, So before things escalated further, I separated the boys, Red has met Reggie who was recently bereaved when we lost Jasper.
Reggie was going to meet Minnie in a couple of weeks as she's booked in to be spayed but he and Red are getting along like old friends, and they look like brothers lol! So now this has happened, Mr Kipling will meet Minnie as soon as she's spayed and recovered which will be shortly after he has his chronic abscess surgically removed 🩷🤍🩵
