Chatty cafe is today. 10am-12pm. Pop in for a cuppa, slice of cake and a chat. We provide a warm and welcoming space, no pressure or feelings of awkwardness. We will have volunteers on hand to start a conversation. Come along and join us today.

We will be hosting two events this week, during Loneliness awareness week.

Wednesday 17th June 10-12pm at the IOW Salvation Army- Chatty Cafe.

Thursday 18th June 10am meet at the IOW Salvation Army for a social walk.

Free Chatty Café & social walk for anyone feeling isolated this Loneliness Week.

Date for your diary's.

Loneliness week is approaching. It's a week whereby we recognise that many of us are experiencing loneliness.

We will be hosting a coffee and cake morning on the Wednesday. This will be a calm and welcoming space with people on hand to welcome you and initiate conversation.

On the Thursday we will be facilitating a walk around Newport. This has been mapped out to 2.6 miles, is mostly paved terrain and accessible for buggies. There will be facilitators on hand to make you feel at ease, welcomed and engaged in conversation.

TODAY. If you are looking for something to keep the children occupied or simply need to take a break from the sun, head down to the Salvation Army Church, 72 Pyle Street Newport for an afternoon for free crafts/games and dinner.

A wonderful restock of our hygiene bank thanks to a wonderful birthday initiative whereby if people insisted on gifts they were to bring an item for the hygiene bank instead. This will go an incredibly long way and make a big difference to those living within our community experiencing hygiene poverty.

⛔️ URGENT UPDATE - NO BABY CAFE TODAY ⛔️

Due to illness we will not be able to run the Baby Cafe today - Monday 26 January.

We are so sorry not to be there for you today. We would be so grateful if you could share with your networks.

We will be back as usual on Monday 2nd February and look forward to seeing you then.
