Get more out of life with the Oddfellows. We run regular events, open to all. We host regular inexpensive social events as well as one-off special activities.

We’re a local Branch of one of the UK’s largest friendly societies, the Oddfellows, which has a 200-year-plus tradition of creating opportunities for people to meet up and make friends, as well as supporting its members in times of need. We’re a not-for-profit, mutual society, where we’re run by our members, for our members. Why not ‘like’ our page and we’ll keep you posted on what’s coming up and how you can get involved. The Not so Oddfellows! event was a resounding success. We got to learn about occupations of Oddfellows around the turn of the Century, the Woodmans craft, a vintage shop, songs related to the occupations and the history of Isle of Wight Oddfellows. All this was rounded off by tea and chocolate biscuits!

The Celebration of Talent not only showcased physical creations but also included entertainment from Singers and Dancers within the membership! It was such a positive experience!

When the East Cowes Shanty group blew into town, so also did three generations of Cheverton's. A happy serendipity moment occurred when they realised on our hall wall was a photo of their ancestor who had been Secretary here for many years! We look forward to welcoming you aboard guys!
