Where there’s a need there’s a Lion.
Newbury Lions Club is part of the worldwide association Lions Clubs International, which was established in 1917 with the sole purpose of serving the local community. Our club was established in 1970 and has been serving the community in Newbury and surrounding areas for 55 years.
There is no restriction on those we help, accepting requests from all sections of the community via a third-party referral. We can help quickly where needed without any lengthy application process and will consider supporting where statutory agencies cannot
We also take referrals from statutory agencies or those who work with families and are aware of their circumstances, such as school liaison officers or Citizen’s Advice.
