West Berkshire Lottery is an exciting weekly lottery that raises
money for good causes in West Berkshire. All good causes supported by
the lottery will benefit West Berkshire and its residents.

Play the lottery, support West Berkshire - it's that simple!

Tickets for the lottery cost just £1 a week. Each ticket has a 1 in 50
chance to win a prize each week, with a top prize of £25,000! There's a
better chance of winning the jackpot than the National Lottery or the
Health Lottery.

Each ticket has six numbers and each number is between 0 and 9. There
will be a draw every Saturday night when a six digit winning
combination will be picked. Prizes will be given to players with tickets
that match the first or last 2 to 6 numbers from the winning

📢 Severe Weather Emergency Protocol (SWEP) Activated
Due to ongoing extreme heat, West Berkshire Council has activated its SWEP
to help rough sleepers access 💧 water and 🏠 shelter.

📅 Duration:
SWEP is in place Friday 19 June 2026
🔁 Review on midday on Monday 22 June 2026 to update any decision to extend SWEP.

📍 Support Locations:
Two Saints Accommodation
210 Newtown Road, Newbury
rough sleepers are able to access supplies of water and shelter during
the predicted period of excessive heat.

💧 Additional Water Point:
Fresh drinking water is available from a tap located at the Toilet Block in
The Wharf, Newbury, RG14 5AN.

🤝 Who SWEP helps:
People not usually eligible for services
Those choosing to sleep rough Individuals who have previously declined housing help

This is part of our ongoing work with partners to tackle homelessness in West Berkshire, including:

The contents of this list is updated regularly and will go directly to people who are homeless, rough sleeping, in emergency accommodation and people in food poverty. Our mission is to help people in need. We hope this list caters for all budgets. 🎉 WHAT. A. NIGHT! 🎉
Last Friday’s Quiz Night was an incredible success — thank you to everyone who came along and made it such a brilliant evening! ❤️

We are delighted to share that we raised an amazing £2,132.12 for Newbury Soup Kitchen 🥰

Even better, this total will benefit from Match Funding through The Good Exchange at Greenham Trust, whose continued support makes a huge difference to everything we do.
