Good news about our face-to-face ESOL courses!

We have listened to feedback from our learners and have reviewed the fees for our face-to-face courses.

We want to make sure that everyone who would benefit from learning English with Educafe has the opportunity to join us. Learners will instead pay £25 for their course workbook and learning materials for the full 30-week face-to-face courses.

Our courses are taught by qualified ESOL teachers and include 30 weeks of lessons, learning materials and ongoing support from the Educafe Education team.

Every cup served, every conversation shared and every smile exchanged reminds us why we volunteer. 💚

What may seem like a simple café visit is so much more for many members of our community. For people like Naila, a regular chatter and familiar face, it's a place to connect, feel welcomed and be part of something bigger.

t's Never Too Late to Learn Something New 📱😊

Before our Seated Wellbeing session last week, Jenny spent a few minutes showing Pat how to put her phone on vibrate.

🎃👻 The Parent Village Spooky Special Fundraiser! 👻🎃

Join us for a spook-tacular morning of family fun, community connection and Halloween magic! 🕸️✨

We've got some fantastic activities lined up:

🎨 Face Painting | 11:00am - 12:30pm
📚 Spooky storytelling with the Newbury Library | 11:30am - 12:00pm
☕ Tea, cake, treats and plenty of opportunities to connect with other local families.

💜 This special event is a fundraiser for The Parent Village. Every donation helps us continue providing vital support, wellbeing activities and opportunities for parents and carers to connect, learn and thrive together.

If you're able to, please come along and donate as much as you can. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help us support more families in our community.

From Hong Kong to Ukraine... via Knitting 🧶

Community Connections at Educafe 💛

Meet Domin, who is originally from Hong Kong and now volunteering in our community café. this week she was proudly showing us the slipper she is currently knitting. The best part? She learned the skill from Olga, one of our Chatters from Ukraine.

What started as a conversation became a lesson, a new friendship and a wonderful example of how skills, cultures and kindness are shared every week at Educafe.
