Our hearts are full. The phrase “it takes a village” has never been more appropriate. The sun shone down on our community all day and we can’t think of a group who deserved it more.

The hours of effort and work that have gone into making yesterday happen are endless. Every person involved volunteered for free out of the goodness of their hearts and it has made our hearts burst. You’re all superheroes and have contributed so significantly to something so important. We can’t thank you enough.

Our live acts all gave their time for free, plus even more willing volunteers on the day helping in security, the bar, tombola, stage crew and more. Another group of superheroes.

To the Baldings for the land, WBPS for our generators, each company and individual that donated auction and raffle items. We are so grateful.

To everyone involved- thank you 🙏

A grand total will be announced shortly. And hopefully we will have even more good news coming following the council meeting this week. We will update you all very soon.
