September has arrived, and although the rhythm around the hives is beginning to change, the engagement does not have to end.

Where a client hive has produced surplus honey, we can discuss arranging a guided jarring session for colleagues. We are also taking bookings for complimentary workplace Eco Markets, bringing a Plan Bee stall and products for teams to browse and buy.

There is something rather special about giving someone a jar of honey produced by bees living at your own site. 🍯

Of course, the bees decide how many jars there will be. When a client’s hosted hives produce surplus honey, we jar what is available and create labels that reflect the client’s brand and the story behind the harvest.

For existing hive-hosting clients considering their honey for Q4 gifts, now is the time to start discussing labels and delivery arrangements.

If you would like to host hives and perhaps produce your own site honey in future, we are also beginning conversations for 2027. Honey is never guaranteed, particularly in the first season when a colony may need time to establish, but the hives give people plenty to enjoy long before the first jar is filled.

Honey jarring season is nearly here, which means the empty jars are starting to gather in suspicious numbers.

First, the beekeeper needs to check what can be harvested. Then come extraction, settling, jarring and labelling. The yield can vary, so we never promise honey from a particular hive before the checks are complete.

We’ll show you the whole process. Which stage are you most curious about? 🍯🐝

Sometimes beeswax becomes candles. Sometimes polish. And sometimes… a rose. 🌹🐝

One of our hugely talented beekeepers, Chris made this beautiful beeswax rose for , using wax produced by the bees and giving it a rather lovely second life.

We talk a lot about making good use of everything the hive gives us, but we think this might be one of our favourite examples yet.

Not a bad bunch of flowers to receive! 💛

A client Bee Club visit starts with protective kit and a straightforward briefing. Then the beekeeper opens the hive and the questions arrive almost immediately.

People can see the bees at work, learn what the beekeeper is checking and understand a little more about the colony living at their workplace. No previous knowledge is needed. Curiosity is plenty.

Our 2026 photographs tell a fairly accurate story: lots of hives, several rooftops, plenty of bee suits and some very curious people.

We have visited existing clients, welcomed new sites and watched teams become properly absorbed in what is happening inside the hive. Thank you to everyone who has joined us so far.

An August hive check is not simply a quick look to see whether the bees are busy.

Our beekeeper is checking the strength and health of the colony, the food it has stored and whether the bees have enough room. All of that helps us understand how the colony is doing as summer begins to turn.
