Wishing you all a Happy New Year! 2025 was a record year for wind and solar in the UK, with wind the biggest single renewable source of electricity and solar jumping by nearly a third. We need to do a lot more, and quickly, to meet 2030 targets - but let's start the year on a positive!

Dundee Renewable Energy Society wanted to build a solar meadow to benefit the local community. ☀️

It used funding from The Scottish Government's Community and Renewable Energy Scheme (CARES) to carry out a feasibility study, get initial advice and consultation, and to understand the appropriate legal agreements.
