The Frenchies Foster Update:
SISTERS! SISTERS!🐶🐶❤️❤️
Misty and Coco have been with us for a week now and have settled really well. They may look almost identical but they have very different personalities. Misty (yellow collar) is inquisitive, always on the go, watchful and energetic. She loves her walks and watching at the window.
Coco (red collar) is more laid back. She enjoys playing with her toys but will go off and relax on her bed when she's had enough of company.
They've spent their whole life together but we think they are independent enough to be adopted separately. As with most siblings, they get on well with the occasional spat.
They've been no trouble whilst staying with us, travelling well, able to be left alone, and sleeping downstairs with no problems. They've taken really well to walking, they're interested in meeting other dogs and people. Of course, they also both enjoy a cuddle on the sofa in the evening💛.
They love sleeping in the sun 🌞, and are waiting here for their forever homes which they richly deserve 😍.

Everyone meet our next resident …. Titch!💔❤️‍🩹

Titch came in to our care with two other frenchies. Sadly this girl hasn’t had the best life or the best breeding which has caused some defects for her.😔

However, she’s a happy girl who’s grateful for her second chance at life! In foster she’s coming along well and is improving daily!🙌

She was great at the vets and allowed a full health check to take place. Titch has been flead, wormed, vaccinated and booked in to be spayed when she’s ready. ✔️

Currently she’s on antibiotics for her paws as her nail beds were infected due to her nails being so long and affecting her walking. As the vet was cutting them, the whole nail was falling out!💔

She’s currently having small and often meals so that she gains weight. Titch is tiny at 4.5kg and she has an odd way of eating. Thankfully she’s a good eater but she eats slowly! Titch seems to have been born with head tilt too!❤️‍🩹

Titch is a cuddle monster, she loves having company. She will need a home where someone is around most of the day. 🤞🏼

She is starting to understand lead walking and what the world has to offer. Her housetraining is improving and she travels well too 🫶🏻

We are looking for a forever foster home for Titch. This is where we will cover her vet bills for life, she needs a home filled with love!❤️‍🩹🏡

Everyone meet our next poundie …. Joy!💙

Joy was stray and no one came forward to claim her. Thankfully we had a foster home lined up and ready for her!🙌

Since arriving Joy, has been great with other dogs in the foster home. She’s good with people, she can be a little head shy for a few moments but soon understands she’s ok!❤️‍🩹

Joy is around 4 years old and a small crossbreed. Likely some dachshund within her mixed of DNA. She is an active girl who LOVES to play ball!🐾🐾

She travels well and is happy to be handled. We feel she could live with dog savvy children and could live with or without other dogs!🐶

At the vets, she was a good girl and passed a full health check. She has now been flead, wormed, vaccinated and mircochipped too. Joy is now booked in to be spayed.✔️

This girl is going to be cracking companion for someone. She has plenty of energy so needs home filled with adventures and stimulation!🐾🐾

Everyone meet our next residents …. Misty and Coco!🫶🏻

These girls came in to our care due to no fault of their own. They haven’t had an easy life so far and we know they are ex breeders. Sadly the last few weeks before coming into AH their needs have not been met !😔

Since arriving in our care, they have been given time to decompressed. They are lovely girls who just needed time to adjust and understand they are safe! Thankfully this has happened quickly and they are coming along well!🥰

Coco and Misty are 6 year old sisters. They did come in to our care with another frenchie who we are going to rehome separately due to the different in their needs. However, we believe these girls could live together or separately …. Depending on the applications we get for them. 🙌

Currently you can apply for one of them or
both. If anything changes to their needs all applications will be notified as they are assessed daily by our behaviourists and their Foster’s parents … we will make the right decision for their needs🥰

Both girls were good at the vets, where they started their vaccinations, been flead wormed and booked in to be spayed. They passed full healthchecks!✔️

When they arrived they need some TLC, they have had baths and plenty of time to relax and learn what the world’s about. They are starting to understand what walks are and enjoying them!🐾

Understandably they can be shy with new people but quickly understand that they are safe. They have previously been around different aged children and seem ok around other dogs on walks. They are house trained and sleep all night downstairs without an issue. Both girls travel well too.🫶🏻

Everyone meet our next poundie …. Kay!🖤

This girl was a stray and no one came forward for her. Thankfully we had a foster home free which she is really enjoying!🫶🏻

Kay is only a small to medium sized crossbreed who makes up for her size with character! She is a cracker!🥰

This girl is 2.5 years old and acts like a puppy. Everyone and everything is AMAZING in Kay’s world! She loves everyone she’s meets, everyone gets cuddles! Shes been good with other dogs she’s met too.🙌

This girl is active and really enjoys being on the go. Shes great at travelling and happily jumps in and out of the car. Kay more than happy to handled!❤️‍🩹

At the vets, she passed her healthcheck, she’s been flead, wormed, vaccinated, and booked in to be spayed. She was already mircochipped.✔️

This girl is the life and soul of the party. She’s so ready to find her forever home. The more adventures the better for this girlie!🐾

Everyone meet our next poundie … Dec!💚

This lad originally came in from the pound as he was unclaimed stray. It’s clear he’s had a rough start in life and needs an empathic home who will build his confidence in the right way!❤️‍🩹

Dec is a small Chihuahua cross who’s around 10 months old. He’s currently in foster with two older dogs and doing well. He could live with dogs who are well balanced and confident or as single dog on his own.🐶

He was great at the vets, where he passed a full health check, started his vaccinations, was flead, wormed and mircochipped. Dec is now neutered too!✔️

This lad needs a confident handler, who treats him like a dog. Not a baby. He finds reassurance in confidence from his handler and blossoms quickly that way. He is a switched on lad who’s got the world at his paws!🐾

Dec is learning to walk nicely on lead, he travels well and is getting used to being handled by different people. He is good in the house and loves a fuss!😍

He needs to be allowed to go to new people when he’s ready. Not have people shove their hands in his face etc. Dec’s confidence is growing daily as his around people who are calm and confident, yet reassure him when needed.✔️

This lad takes a little while to trust you but once he trusts you, he’s great. Any fast or sudden movements do scare him, that’s why we feel he would be better in an adult only home.🏡

When he first arrived he was scared boy. Now he’s loving life, loves his walks and zoomies. He just needs someone to show him the world. 🐾
