NEWCIS Young Carers helps to support all Young Carers in Flintshire. Being a Young Carer can be a rewarding experience!

A Young Carer is someone under the age of 25, who helps to look after someone because they’re unwell, have a disability, a mental health issue or struggle with substance misuse. Young Carers might help with things around the house like washing, cooking, or looking after a sibling. A Young Carer might also have more of an emotional caring role, meaning they find it hard to switch off and worry about the person they care for. You can develop new skills, become more independent and can build a great relationship with the person you care for. However, you might struggle to find time to see friends or relax, find it hard to concentrate at school, or may be experiencing strong feelings and emotions. NEWCIS Young Carers is here to support you in your caring role and explore what would make your life easier. Make Christmas memories with your four-legged friend at our Santa Paws Experience!

Our magical outdoor Santa’s Grotto is back, where your dog can enjoy a one-to-one visit with Santa, have their photo taken, get into the festive spirit with a Christmas bandana or jumper provided for their visit, and receive a tasty dog treat.

We know it’s early… but beat the Christmas rush and get your cards and gifts sorted with a festive photo of your four-legged friend! 🎄

Our magical outdoor Santa’s Grotto is back! Bring your dog for a one-to-one visit with Santa, a photo and a tasty treat. We’ll even provide a Christmas bandana or jumper for their festive moment! 🐕✨

Our water fights are always a huge hit, so we'll be sure to plan in our annual 'Soggy Pizza Night' next summer!!

Another great opportunity to take some time out, have fun and enjoy each other's company. From the first bowl to the final score, there were plenty of smiles, laughs and a little bit of friendly competition.. We finished off with a McDonalds! 🎳🍔

There will be a drink and cake for all attending, including adults! There is no cost for the Young Carer and their adult, however, if more family members would like to attend they will need to cover their own costs including entry. You will need to contact us to let us know about any additional people, so that we can let the farm staff know. Access to the pumpkin patch is over uneven ground so may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.
