Had some escapees last night just before dark!
Luckily the whole lot of the extra 60 didn’t make their way through the broken fence, also lucky the farmer was here to check on them, as he lives an hour away!
Now all moved into a couple of fields down our farm track for some tasty fresh grass

I’m sure the goats knew there was rain on its way, they weren’t as eager to come out from their sleeping quarters nor through to another field!

So nice to see the grass making an appearance after a very long dry summer.
Lovely week of rain has done these fields the world of good! 🎉
Amazing how resilient grassland is when there is a drought, and after a great amount of rainfall it starts growing again, happy farmer’ess, happy livestock, happy wildlife, nature at its best!
