Well I think I should of put a glove on! I now have a blue finger, after treating a goat’s foot for foot scold. They can very sore between their claw.
This is due to wet long grass passing through the foot claw as they walk 😌

Yesterday (Monday) our two donkeys had a visit from an Equine dentist.
I’ve been concerned about Niall’s health recently, he’s not been able to keep his weight on , despite extra soft feed.
No worm burden, so that ruled that out!
Then I noticed he was spitting out lumps of chewed up food.
A sign to me that something else is going on, I looked up what this could signal.
TEETH! 🦷
A visit from the Equine Dentist showed that Niall had indeed had some issues with his teeth! A lot of filling down , and is now a happier donkey. He behaved impeccably well to 😊
Then there’s Nemo 🤣 the head strong sassy donkey!
He managed to push the Equine Dentist onto a gate 🤨 but no harm done, he was to be fair a good donkey to. Nemo has weight issues too! Just a bit too well!
Videos of the to having there teeth done, if you don’t like the sound of the electric file, turn off the volume.
