🎉 Throwback to Volunteers’ Week 2025 🎊

Last year, we visited local voluntary groups and organisations to present certificates of appreciation for all that their volunteers do to help make life better for others. We brought cake, took lots of photos, and met incredible volunteers from across Flintshire.

Tomorrow we are celebrating Flintshire volunteers with our Volunteer Awards celebration event – we can’t wait!

Blwyddyn diwethaf, Ymwelwyd â grwpiau a sefydliadau gwirfoddol lleol i gyflwyno tystysgrifau o werthfawrogiad am bopeth y mae eu gwirfoddolwyr yn ei wneud i helpu i wneud bywyd yn well i eraill. Roedd yn bleser i gwrdd â gwirfoddolwyr anhygoel o gwmpas Sir y Fflint.

Wythnos yma, rydym yn brysur yn paratoi ar gyfer ein digwyddiad Gwobrau Gwirfoddolwyr ar ddydd Gwener.

Mae ein Gwobrau Gwirfoddolwyr yn dathlu cyflawniadau a chyfraniadau anhygoel gwirfoddolwyr Sir y Fflint.

Rydym yn edrych ymlaen at groeso ein henwebai a diolch iddynt am eu hymroddiad a'u hymrwymiad i wirfoddoli.

Our FLVC Volunteer Awards celebrate the incredible achievements and contributions of volunteers from across Flintshire.

Are you seeking funds for a community activity?

Are you thinking about applying for a National Lottery Community Grant?

Their grant programmes include:

• Awards for All - A simple small grants programme making awards of between £300 and £20,000 (https://www.tnlcommunityfund.org.uk/funding/funding-programmes/national-lottery-awards-for-all-wales).
• People & Places - Medium Grants & Large grants - Aim to bring people together to make communities stronger and improve rural or urban environments (https://www.tnlcommunityfund.org.uk/funding/funding-programmes/people-and-places).

Our next Babies, Children and Young People’s Network meeting will take place on Monday, June 8th, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM.

Location: Wings Club Broughton, Chester Road, Broughton, Chester, CH4 0DR

The network is an opportunity to engage and network with other third sector, local authority and health services supporting babies, children and families in the Flintshire and Wrexham areas.
