Who’s looking forward to our Family Fun Day? 💚

It’s getting closer! 🤩

On Saturday 5th September, we’ll be hosting the very first Exmoor Young Voices Family Fun Day at Exford Cricket Ground (TA24 7LT) from 12-4pm.

Entry is completely FREE and we’ve got a whole afternoon of fun planned for children, young people and families.

Our aim is to bring families together, celebrate the brilliant organisations supporting our communities and help local people discover the clubs, activities, support and opportunities available across Exmoor and West Somerset.

We are incredibly grateful to have lots of fantastic organisations and groups joining us, offering a mix of free and low-cost activities, including:

⭐ Minehead Eye
⭐ Home-Start West Somerset
⭐ Exmoor Community Youth Club
⭐ Minehead Rotary Club
⭐ Dulverton Netball Club
⭐ Exmoor National Park Pioneers Project
⭐ Thrive Somerset Village Agent - Jess Coles
⭐ Exmoor National Park Youth Board
⭐ Wild Wellies ( Tales & Treasures!)

There’ll also be a bouncy castle from Slide And Play, face painting, children’s races and games, a raffle with some exciting prizes, plus refreshments for you to enjoy.

🎉 We're delighted to announce that Exmoor Community Youth Club will be joining us at our Family Fun Day in Exford on 5th September!

Come and have a go at some fantastic activities, including:

💚 Crafts (bracelet making, bunting and wooden medallions)
⚽ Football table fun
🧩 Giant Jenga
..and if enough people are up for it, there might even be a game of rounders! 😀

Exmoor Community Youth Club meets every Friday from 6pm to 8pm at the pavilion behind the church in Exford, which also happens to be where we'll be hosting our Family Fun Day!

Open to young people aged 6 to 16, the club offers a safe, welcoming place to make friends, have fun and enjoy a wide range of activities, from crafts and games to outdoor adventures, natural play and sports.

For young people growing up in a rural community like Exmoor, opportunities to connect with others are so important. The youth club helps build friendships, confidence, resilience and a real sense of belonging.

We're so pleased they'll be part of our Family Fun Day, and we hope you'll come along, enjoy the activities and find out more about everything the club has to offer. 💚

Just a reminder that it is the Garden Party at The Rectory, Exford this Sunday, 28th June, from 12-3pm - please spread the word! It would be lovely to see you and raise some funds for youth club and the local churches.

A busy weekend for Youth Club!
After Friday’s farm visit, we headed to Simonsbath House Hotel’s outdoor centre for a day packed with brilliant activities. Our members made us incredibly proud with their enthusiasm, and determination. Everyone had an amazing time. Huge thanks, as always, to our incredible volunteers who make experiences like this possible.
