Exciting news, thanks for the coverage Daniel Mumby! We’ll be working with the neighbours as best as we can to avoid disruption 🙏

Every mile matters. These two new sections won't complete the Steam Coast Trail on their own, but they are another important piece of the jigsaw. Thanks to Somerset Council, the developers and everyone who has kept believing in this vision. With new partnerships, new funding and renewed momentum, we're more optimistic than we've been for several years that a continuous route from Williton towards Minehead is becoming achievable.

The Steam Coast Trail will eventually run between Minehead and Watchet - with two new sections being delivered as part of a Williton housing estate

🚲🍓 Strawberry Line adventure 🐾

We had a brilliant family day out cycling the Strawberry Line recently!

Parked up at Yatton (bargain £3.50 for the day), grabbed some bikes, and hit the trail. The bike hire was fantastic… loads of adaptive options, so our son found a super stable tag-along that worked perfectly. Even managed to bring the puppy along in a trailer 🐶

It’s about 10 miles down to Cheddar Gorge where we stopped for lunch… then the beauty of it is you can either cycle back or hop on the train 🚆

Simple, easy, and just a great adventure all round. One of those days you know you’ll remember.
