If Lynmouth’s businesses were classic cars, The Esplanade Fish Bar lynmouth would be a beautifully restored grand tourer – reliable, admired by everyone, always performing at the top of its game and drawing a crowd wherever it goes.

And the food? This isn’t just fish and chips… it’s perfectly golden, freshly cooked, seaside dining at its absolute finest. The sort of meal that has visitors planning their next visit before they’ve finished the last chip.

Beyond serving fantastic food, the team are incredible supporters of our community. Whether it’s the Lyn Valley Classic, Lynmouth Bike Nights, local fundraisers, community events or countless other good causes, they are always there, quietly helping to make things happen.

Their support, generosity and enthusiasm never go unnoticed, and we are hugely grateful for everything they do for our events and for the wider Lynmouth community.

⛽🚗 Ready and Waiting at Barbrook Filling Station 🚗⛽
Whether you’re arriving in a cherished classic, a modern motor, or simply enjoying a day out at the Lyn Valley Classic, the team at Barbrook Filling Station are ready to keep both you and your vehicle fuelled for the journey.
From delicious food and refreshments to everyday essentials, they’re a vital stop for visitors and locals alike. More importantly, they are tremendous supporters of our event and so many other motoring activities throughout the year.
Trials vehicles are a particular passion of theirs, and with the legendary Lands End Trial represented at this year’s show, you’ll spot a wonderful selection of fascinating vehicles in these photos. Keep your eyes peeled on event day and see if you can spot any of them amongst the displays!
We are incredibly grateful for the immense support that Barbrook Filling Station continues to give the Lyn Valley Classic and the wider vehicle community.
If you’re using the Park & Ride, you may not drive past them on your journey into the event, (the bus will so keep your eyes peeled) but if you need fuel, supplies, refreshments or a friendly welcome, they’re only a mile away.

🚞🎉 Dressing for the Occasion! 🎉🚞
With thousands of visitors set to arrive for this year’s Lyn Valley Classic, the team at the Lynton Cliff Railway have been hard at work making sure one of our most iconic landmarks is looking its absolute best.
The colourful bunting is now flying proudly, adding even more charm and character to this unique Victorian wonder. As the world’s highest and steepest fully water-powered railway, the Cliff Railway has welcomed generations of visitors to Lynton & Lynmouth — and this weekend it will once again be at the heart of the celebrations.
A huge thank you to the Cliff Railway team for their continued support of the event and for helping create such a wonderful welcome for everyone attending. We think it’s looking absolutely splendid! 🇬🇧✨

A beautifully detailed vintage pedal car inspired by the iconic Ferrari 156 Formula One racer, complete with pressed steel bodywork, racing stripes, spoked wheels and the unmistakable “Shark Nose” styling that made the original legendary.

A wonderful piece of motoring history and a reminder that you don’t have to be full-sized to be a classic!
