A LITTLE HEADS-UP FOR OUR LOVELY LVC CREW! 🏍️🚗
Coming to Lynton & lynmouth from the 1st -5th October 27 then please arrive fully fuelled!
Our local petrol station is going to be closed for four days at the beginning of October so please don’t leave filling up until you’re nearly on empty! ( we will remind you again closer to the date)
Make sure your tank is topped up before you head our way — because once you’re here, you’ll want to spend your time enjoying the drive, views, food, drink and everything else the Lyn Valley has to offer… not hunting for fuel! 😉
So remember:
Fuel up. Head for the valley. Enjoy the drive. ❤️

Come for the drive, stay for everything else. 🚗🏍️🍻🌊

❤️ THIS IS WHY WE DO IT.
At the Lyn Valley Classic, we love the cars. We love the atmosphere. We love seeing the valley absolutely buzzing.
But most of all, we love being able to support the local charities, groups and organisations that this community depends on.
And Exmoor Search & Rescue Team is a brilliant example.
Their volunteers are out there when people need them most, often in some of the toughest conditions Exmoor can throw at them. Supporting organisations like this is exactly where we want the money raised by the LVC to go.
So seeing their team collecting their £2,000 cheque and meeting the people who came out to support them makes all the hard work, planning, spreadsheets, early mornings and occasional chaos completely worthwhile! 😂
The cars might bring everyone together… but the difference we can make together is the really important bit.
Thank you to everyone who entered a car, made a donation, volunteered, sponsored us, came along or simply helped make the LVC what it is.
£120,000+ raised and counting. ❤️
And yes… we’re already thinking about how we can have even more fun raising even more! 🚗💨❤️

We know some of you were disappointed when you couldn’t get a place at the 2026 Lyn Valley Classic — so we promised THOSE ON OUR RESERVE LIST that we’d give you first chance for next year.
And we’ve kept our word! 🙌

If you’ve received one, we’re really looking forward to hearing from you and hopefully welcoming you to the Lyn Valley Classic in 2027. 🏁
A little reminder: GENERAL ENTRIES for the 2027 show are NOT open yet. They won’t open until later this year.

The Legendary GRAND TOUR MINIS are coming to LYNTON! 🚗🏁

The legendary Grand Tour Minis will be making their way to Lynton and the spectacular Valley of Rocks — and they’re doing it all for a fantastic cause, raising money for South West Children’s Hospice. ❤️
So let’s give them the big old Lynton welcome they deserve! 👋🎉

If you spot the Minis rolling into town, get out, give them a wave, grab a photo and show them just how much we love a good car coming to the Lyn Valley! 🚗💨

Our presentation evening is all about celebrating the incredible support we receive from our entrants, supporters, volunteers and the wider community. Every car, every person and every contribution helps us make a difference to local charities and community groups.
Thank you for being part of it and for helping us celebrate what we can achieve together. ❤️

❤️🏍️ It’s about more than raising money… it’s about bringing people together, creating experiences and making memories. ❤️

When you take your Mum out on your bike for a ride!… ❤️🏍️
…and somehow that outing turns into 320+ miles, 48 hours, a trip to the North Devon coast, a night at Lynton & Lynmouth Bike & Charity Presentation Night, catching up with lifelong friends, and a stay in the beautiful Valley of Rocks! 😍
We absolutely LOVE this story shared by Paul, and what an incredible adventure to have with his 86-year-old Mum, Mouli. ❤️ (we can’t believe she is 86 just look at the pictures!)
From arriving at our Bike Night to exploring North Devon, then heading home via Glastonbury, Devizes and the Caen Hill Locks — it sounds like they packed an awful lot into their little “bike trip”! 😂🏍️
And this is exactly why we love what we do through the Lyn Valley Classic and our Fundraisers events. It’s not just about raising money — although that is hugely important — it’s about bringing people together, creating experiences and making memories in our wonderful community.
And Mouli… at 86, you are officially one of our Bike Night legends! 👏❤️🏍️

A huge thank you from all of us in Lynmouth ❤️

Tonight has been all about saying thank you.

Thank you to the wonderful charities and community groups who do so much for our community, and to the volunteers who give their time to support them.

Thank you to the amazing people and local businesses who support both the Lyn Valley Classic and our Lynmouth Bike Nights, helping us to keep these events going and making a difference.

And, of course, a very special thank you to our incredible volunteers — the people behind the scenes and on the ground who work tirelessly to make our events run smoothly, safely and with a smile. Seeing our younger volunteers alongside our more experienced team tonight was a particularly lovely reminder that community spirit really is something we can pass on.

But most of all, thank you to you — everyone who comes along, supports our events, joins in, donates and gives so generously. Without you, none of what we do would be possible.

This evening was incredibly special for all of us, and we are so proud of what we can achieve together.

From all of us who welcomed you to Lynmouth tonight, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Join us for our Lyn Valley Classic Presentation Night and a Bike Night with a Difference – Thursday 20th August, 6 till 9pm.🏍️💚
Some of the volunteers who organise the Lyn Valley Classic Car Show also organise our Lynmouth Bike Nights as part of our sister committee the Lyn Valley Classic Fundraisers,
On Thursday we’re bringing the two together for a special evening as we present the Lyn Valley Classic 2026 charity donations to this year’s amazing charities and community groups. Every penny has been raised thanks to the incredible support of everyone involved with the Classic.
As always, you can expect a fantastic event with bikes, plenty of friendly faces and a great community atmosphere. There’ll also be a selection of classic cars, charity representatives to meet, and the presentation of the giant cheques.
Whether you’ve supported the Classic Car Show, Bike Nights or are here visiting, we’d love to see you there as we celebrate another successful year of fundraising for our local community.
