Community Revival is pleased to offer a comprehensive, FREE Hate Crime Awareness Course designed to help individuals, volunteers, professionals, and community members understand, identify, challenge, and report hate crime.

📍 Venue: Community Revival

Dates:
1. Understanding Hate Crime - Covers definitions protected strands, real examples and how hate incidents affect migrant communities on Thursday 9th July 2026
2. Online Hate and Digital Safety - Explores online abuse, social media harassment, and safe ways to respond on Thursday 16th July 2026
3. Reporting Hate Crime & Accessing Support - Explains reporting routed, third-party centers, victim support and why reporting matters on Friday 17th July 2026

Timings: every session is between 11am-1:30pm or 10:30am-1pm on 17th July

🚨 Explorer Leaders – Discover the New Explorer Programme 🚨

HQ have now released details of the upcoming sessions introducing the revised Explorer Scout Programme.

Rather than local launch presentations, volunteers are being encouraged to attend one of the national online sessions to hear directly about the changes, opportunities and future direction for Explorers.

These sessions are a great opportunity to:
⭐ Understand the new programme
⭐ Hear about upcoming changes and resources
⭐ Ask questions and prepare your section for the future

Please can all Explorer Leaders across West Yorkshire make sure they sign up to attend a session.

The Scouts of the World Award is exclusively for those aged 18-24 and is one of the top three awards along with the King’s Scout Award and the Explorer Belt. If you’ve not achieved all three awards yet, consider finding out more about the Scouts of the World Award by attending the Scouts of the World Discovery 20th-21 June at Carnforth.
