The Edgar Wood and Middleton Heritage Initiative was awarded a £1,975,800 grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund to repair and restore Middleton's unique collection of Edgar Wood architecture and the town's other important historic buildings. The Initiative will run for 5 years between Spring 2011 and 2016 and will give local people to opportunity to learn about why their local heritage is of nation
